I'm not saying that Dumbledore wanted to die, but perhaps his death was harry's final lesson: that even those who seem all pwerful and imortal can be defeated.
Very good thinking there. That would mean hope for beating LV! I think DD was on the brink of death anyways, he was getting very old and worn out by the end of the book. Possibly he knew he was going to die, but i don't think he planned it the way it happened.
