That last part i belive to be true. But think about Snape's childhood. Wouldn't that make you confused if you were Snape.

Dumbledore is just one of those people that have too much faith in others, think about how much he has in Harry. For whatever reason he trusted Snape it was not because he wronged him in any way. If Dumbledore EVER wronged anyone its Harry, for not telling Harry certain things that he needed to know, and even then that was because he was concerned about Harry's wellbeing.

I think you're right, Run Away. If DD ever wronged anyone it was because he didn't tell someone everything.

Yes, Snape did have a very 'troublesome' childhood. And for this reason he holds a grudge against Harry, we have seen this before in real life situations. Usually some troubled person bullied in high school ends up murdering the people who gave them a hard time during high school, some of them even snap right away and bring guns to school and go on a mass shooting spree killing many innocent people as well.
Grudges can be a dangerous thing... and Snape definitely has one against Harry for how James treated him at Hogwarts. Therefore Snape is a dangerous person to Harry and would he want to help Harry and be on Harry's side? NO!

Sure. But perhaps he also has an equal grudge of hatred against Lord Voldemort's side.

That, perhaps, could be an explanation for his position.

True, I think it has to do with a little bit of both, and whatever he sees as a side of power that's were's he's going to go.

Yeah, since when has Snape done something just because it was the right thing to do?

Would you please write more! I gotta think of something to keep this topic going now, THANKS  !

Oh yeah in LV world as well, I guess. Like that's a huge step up. I mean, how do you stand up for him when he's killed DD, DD wasn't afraid of death no, but I dout he WANTED to die.

We have already talked about this saving Draco thing a dozen times!!! New ideas please!!!!

I don't know what kind of grudge Snape would hold against LV, because he did join the deatheaters freely, and if LV did something after Snape joined the DE's, then so what? He's LV! Evil mean things is what he does!

The real question is not "why did he kill dumbledore?" but rather "why did he make the unbreakable vow?" Was he forced into it because he couldn't reveal his position and had to keep pretending to be on LV's side even though he wasn't? He could have told DD about the vow even, but still I think it was for other reasons.

I think that it was to protect Draco and he liked the Malfoys!
And I think that all DEs have a grudge against LV. They'r ejealous. and who wouldn't? He's brilliant.
