It's a sport.

Think... American Football but you can't throw the ball foward, there's no armour and you have to put the ball down when you get to the endzone.

Its not popular in the US, its not shown on the tele, but I can watch it in NZ!!! Yay. The rugby players don't wear all the padding like they do in football, and the game is pretty much continuous the whole 80 minutes without all the stops all the time.

Football is always stopping, sometimes I think they rest more than they play! With rugby its just action all the way.. blam blam blam! WHOOO! If you play rugby your feet NEVER stop!
But it all depends on personal preference most americans grew up with football, therefore thats what they are most inclined to like. But in NZ and Australia we grew up with rugby.

Well everybody knows that they're the best rugby team, it wouldn't even be worth mentioning that!

I did hear that... I think it's brilliant. But because rugby doesn't have the worldwide numbers close to soccer, it'll be overlooked I imagine...
