Meet everyone here in The Great Hall for general discussions. Here you'll find a friendly place to talk about all things under the magnificent magical ceiling...even stuff not connected with Harry Potter!
You know something, I think that it's only Scellanis, Selene, Simatra, Scarlet, and I, keeping this discussion section going?! Hey!, I'm the on;y one out of the five of us without a name that starts with an "S"! I feel so lonely and special!
Ok movie, but guess who plays the princess...Emma Watson aka Hermione. Interesting, not a very big part given its animated and she hardly ever talks but its weird seeing her do something else.
I just saw Marley and Me. If you want a movie that will make you laugh and cry within a span of an hour, go see it. I read the book first and they actually did a very good movie adaptation of it. I loved it. The ending was sad, but it was still a good movie.
I think I really liked it because Marley just reminds me of Benny so much! There was a lot more focus on Marley's destructive habits in the book than the movie, but I still thought of Benny during so much of that movie.
I think the last movie I saw in theater was The Dark Knight. When did that movie come out? Oh well, it's still awesome, and I'd watch it again just to see the Joker's Pencil dissapearance trick.
Ooo, Scellanis, you're so lucky you went to see The Tale of Despereux! I read the book in third grade and loved it, now I can't wait to see how the movie turns out! I saw a preview of Inkheart the movie online yesterday, it was so odd! Dustfinger looked too old, Meggie looked like a 12-year-old snob, and Fenoglio was wearing a beret! I just can't see hime ever doing that!
I've seen Inkheart, I thought it was good, loved Dustfinger. Did think the storyline got changed somewhat, need to check the ending of the book because it seems very finished so I don't think they have done it right as I don't see how they are going to get 2 more movies from their ending.
What? Is Inkheart out the last movie I saw was Australia, actually no; it was Yes Man. It is a comedy starring my favourite actor ( Jim Carrey ) where he signs a deal where he has to say Yes to everything. The situations he gets stuck in are... somewhat horrible
