"Come to think of it...it's gonna be your first time out there," Arven spoke.
"Just be careful of foul plays, you don't wanna break any bones...but I'm sure Misty will cover us." Arven added, not knowing if she had lightened the tense atmosphere or made it worse.

It was getting late Misty noticed when she took a glance around the common room which was almost empty.

She stood up "Well team, everyone off to bed...yes even you Terry! I want you all to have a good nights rest...I don't care if you have homework, it can be done tommorrow! Goodnight!"

She walked up the stairs. A few of the Girls on the team followed her.

Misty awoke to the sun shining through the dorm window, she glanced around, everyone was still in bed. Must be early she thought as she slid silently out of bed.

She was correct, it was 6am according to her dorm mates clock.

She got into her Quidditch robes and headed down for a very early breakfast.

Looking at her bedside clock, Rowena saw it was half past 7 on Saturday morning. The bright sunshine had woken her, streaming through the dormitory windows.

Everyone else in the room was still asleep, so she decided to get dressed and go down to the Great Hall to see if she could eat anything. Despite the warmth of the dorm, a cold shiver slid down her spine as she left it. Rowena shrugged it off, and hurried away- already feeling the butterflies in her stomach.

Dinas strolled slowly down to the Great Hall for breakfast. Some early risers were already there.

Dressed up in her quidditch robe, Arven made her way to the Great Hall. By this time, most of the team members were gathered around for breakfast. Arven joined it as Misty gave her last instructions prior to the start of the game.

Dinas finished his breakfast and went back upstairs to get his own broom, a swift but reliable referee's one.

As he left the room, he saw the sun shine through an open window, and smiled. It really was a beautiful day.

The last member of the team (Terry) arrived for breakfast at 8am.

She gave them all one last (and brief) pep-talk, and stood up.

"Right team. I'm heading to the changing rooms now, who's coming?"

The pep-talk had only made her more consciously aware of her nerves- and the students only just coming down for breakfast, chatting loudly about the match, weren't helping either.

Taking a deep and steadying breath, Rowena stood up too. "I'm coming."

She walked quickly to the Pitch.

Once the entire team was ready with their broomsticks, it was 2 minutes till game time.

"All right guys, not only should we get out there to win, we should also have fun! Hands in." She stuck her hand in the middle of the circle they had formed. "One, two....three. TEAM!"

Dinas blew his whistle.
