The part in GOF when DD finds out LV used Harry's blood, and there's triumph in DD's eyes, well we can guess that that was a bad move for LV, but how so?
I'm trying to make a theory about this. Help me come up with one.
Well, that proved that he's bound to Harry or something. When you use someone's blood, doesn't that bond you to the person, it seems like something J.K.R. would do.
Well he did it so he could have Harry's blood running through his veins, so he could touch him etc.. He probably thought that if there was still protection in the blood he might get a little bit of it too.
I still think it's the love angle. Remember how Harry felt pain when Voldemort was feeling anger, rage or hatred? Maybe now Voldemort will feel pain whenever Harry feels love. Maybe it'll mess with his head. Here's hoping.
Wow that would be good for Harry.. i could imagine the final scene:
Harry and LV fight with all of the order and the Death Eaters. Harry's and LV's wand perform Priori Incantatem and Harry sees his mother and father, maybe one of his friends that Voldemort had recently killed...
Harry's heart would fill with love, and LV's head would hurt so much he would fall, leaving Harry enogh time to kill him..
(actully im not sure harry would kill LV, but you never know)
I don't think any of that love in the blood business need carry on any further. Frankly I think Harry should find a practical way and actually defeat him rather than have another lucky fluke.
But there is undeniably signifiance is the gleam of triumph in Dumbeldore's eyes... so unfortunately it probably will be something like that.
Perhaps voldemort using harry's blood sealed the prophesy by making them almost one person. this would indicate that they could not exist simultaniuosly.
