I just had a revelation about the locket!!!!!

RAB is Regulus Black, okay?
RAB took the locket from the cave thing and took it to his house, okay?
Maybe that's the locket they were looking at in OOTP, okay?
So the locket might have been thrown away or taken by Kreacher and later stolen by Mundungus who sold it, okay?

Any of this make sense?
