Wow that's quite a line-up - sounds like an awesome event!
I'd want to see
Jet
Violent Femmes
Muse
The Killers
Kasabian
The Streets
I have to say there are a lot on there I don't recognise and also one act that I think is screaming out at me as being missing is Snow Patrol - they're awesome - we're going to see them at Wembley Arena in a few weeks
I agree...I reckon Snow Patrol should come. Lots of people love them.
I also think The Used should come. But MCR is enough for me!!!
I also missed out of my list Jet, Violent Femmes, Trivium, John Butler Trio and The Tutts (just coz I have a friend with Tutt as a last name!). I wasn't concerntrating. There's probably mor...but I'm not going...so it doesn't really matter...

No need to be mean Simatra, that seemed a little rude to me. I've not heard of them before either but hearing that someone else likes them who has a similar music taste to me, may encourage me to go out and buy/download their record. I say again, keep an open mind...
Well, I'm sorry Snow. But I meant that in no negative way, I was leaveing it open for people to fill me in on who they are. I've heard the name but have never heard them play before, and that's all I meant. I hopped I wouldn't have to explain this. Please don't take my post as being negative Snow.
Don't worry I caught on with the way you meant it...
Snow, The Black Parade album is their best album. It has some cool songs on it....slow rock, rock and a more intense rock, and some really meaningful lyrics.
Though they have been classed as an 'emo' band, They say they're not, and I don't reckon they are.

No worries Simatra, I guess things can sometimes look/appear different when written down.
Cool thanks SL! Might take a look at that sometime - will let you know what I think! I must be getting old though I have to say what do you mean by EMO band??? Doh! I feel a fool for not knowing!
Like...umm...it's a new stereotype thing, people with black hair, who can be overly emotionable, they like the dark and listen to like heavy-metal, rock and stuff. EMO=emotional.
I don't actually get it...but hey, I just class them in the Rock catagory!
Ohh...yeah that's right, the whole Eden Park thing has been decided. What was the verdict, Phoenix??
