The idea of a character coming out has been discussed endlessly, but is unlikely to happen. Any gay character would be a token outcast for the purposes of highlighting the pointlessness of oppression and social exclusion - and for that we already have Remus Lupin and his lycanthropy.

I mean, he's not too bright, and she's really smart, and sure, she's rough with him, but if he ends up with Ginny what would happen to the integrity of his relationship with Ron? Would it bring them closer or would it be too weird for them to handle?

I really think Hermione is more likely to complete Ron, rather than Harry. It always seemed to me like Hermione and Ron were oposite and Harry is somewhere in the middle. As for Harry. I think it was pretty clear that Ginny is the right one for him with all the "they understood each other perfectly with a gaze" and so on at the end of HBP.

I voted for Ginny but I also think hermione & harry would make a good couple, as would luna & harry I think that harry & ginny understand each other though, they'd be/they are a really sweet couple.
