Hogwarts '06/7

A home for old scenarios who may have come to an end for RPG playing but whose life and excitement can still be enjoyed in story form.

Misty grimaced...Joe, why did it have to be him... she turned around to look at him. He was smiling and waving at her...she then turned around to look at Johnathon, who gave her a sympathetic look.

Joe was a Hufflepuff, he was one of those people that got teased often, he got teased at Hogwarts either about his snorting he constantly did or his lack of social life, and sometimes even they way he smelt, which was not pleasant.

The bell rang, and Misty hurried out of the classroom, without a hesitation...

Dinas loved being a professor.

He was satisfied.

Wasn't he?

After an excruciatingly challenging potions lesson, Remmy was glad to have a break for lunch.

Throughout the entire Herbology lesson, Arven couldn't differentiate between the various poisonous plants and their respective cures. As a result, when the class have to make their own cures, Arven passed the wrong solution mixture to her greenhouse lab partner and ended up with a small burn on the back of her hand. Luckily for Arven, Professor Spinach was nearby and gave her immediate first aid to stop the spread of the burn, or else, it could be more than just a burn mark.

At the end of the lesson, Arven packed her bag and headed towards the Great Hall for dinner.

"I need to get help for Herbology real soon," Arven thought to herself.

MIsty was really annoyed...she always got stuck with the dumb partners...maybe the teachers thought she could help them, being a prefect last year...and Head Girl this year...but the thing was, she didn't own enough patience to give them the time of day...this was the one thing that let her down in both her practical and theory parts of her schoolwork, and even in her Quidditch Captain duties, as well as Head Girl duties...

She had no tolerance for people who didn't do as well as they could, the slackers...it tweeked her in the wrong places...she's always been good at making people work to their fullest potential..Maybe that's why I'm Quidditch Captain..and Head Girl..I'm good at making people work their hardest to achieve what they can achieve....

Misty shrugged...maybe my greatest weaknesses,Patience and Tolerance, was the things that gave her the potential to have the positions of Captain and Head Girl...

Dinas was interested to see how Misty would manage with her new partner.

Misty reached the Defence Against the Dark Arts class early...and got a seat towards the back of the class. She wasn't really in the mood to talk to anyone, maybe she'd talk to Terry and Johnathong when the got here...but no one else....

She looked at her watch...5minutes to go...I hope its practical today...I feel like cursing someone right now...especially Dinas...

I don't suppose anyone would notice, thought Dinas, if I disappeared for a while on the quidditch patch..

Walking past the quidditch field as it was along the way towards the Great Hall, Arven saw a few Hufflepuffs fully clad with their distinctive yellow and black quidditch robes marching towards the arena. Apparently they were the first ones to start their practices this year. Arven glanced a few looks at the players and could only vaguely recognised a few familiar faces.

Gabriel Grifith - The 7th year captain and keeper
Arven recalled his defensive skill was arguably the best among the keepers.

Pauline 'Pow' Powter - The 6th year beater
She wasn't nicknamed 'Pow' for no reason as Arven had once tasted her powerful strike of the bludger.

Timonthy Terrin - The 6th year seeker
Fast and furious was the best term to describe him.

As for the rest, Arven didn't managed to recall their names but have seen them around.

Quidditch practises were beginning to get underway. Already, three of the four houses had come to book the pitch.

He would call a meeting with all the players, soon.

Arven was at the study corner in the Gryffindor common room, revising her Herbology. Looking at the big grandfather clock that stood near the fireplace, it has been half an hour since she started. There was still an hour before lunch. Taking a short break from her study, she leaned back into the comfort of the cosy arm chair. At this moment, she saw Misty entering the common room.

"I found you!" she partly yelled across the room as soon as she saw Arven.

Arven looked up..."Hey, Misty! Do you have a free spell too?"

"Yup..I sure do...Hey, I was wondering, if you weren't to busy...if you could help me sort out some new Quidditch Plays and stuff we can do at practises...Would you mind helping out a bit???"

Arven, seeing Misty's enthusiasm, agreed to her request. Afterall, quidditch was her favourite past time... once...
"Say... erm... if you need a chaser, I might be able to help," Arven suggested.
"Of course, we need Dinas' approval..."
