as usuall for this last several days, today and yesterday there was more bombing of haifa, teberias, and all other cities in the north
the only news i guess is that it stopped being intersting - at least as far as the local media is conscerned - in the first days every bomb got live if possible coverage - now they just go on with regular tv programs even when there are many bombs and just report about it in the main newscast in the evening... i guess the people here got used to this situation already

i have a question, may be I heared it wrong on the TV, but
Don't Lebanese civilians get warning of where exactly gonna be the next strike/where to evacuate from?
I was kind of half listening to the news so um might of heard it completely wrong <.<'

im not too sure about it, and i wish it were true, but as much as i understood they were given a warninhg to evacuate all of the south of lebanon, maybe in other parts of lebanon - beirut and other places, they did get such warning but i didnt hear about it
but i think i should say this - idf (tsahal) is bombing beirut and other cities but the places being bombed are places that belong to hizbollah and i think that everyone knows they do - that is not to say there arent any innocent civilians there - but i think they do have some clue as to which parts are most likely to get bombed

I think part of the problem is also the fact that even if they did get warning, they can't get out now anyway, some of the roads and infrastructure have been bombed so for some it might be hard to get out now anyway.
Personally I think that there comes a time when you have to say enough is enough. It's been going on for what 60 odd years and peace has got to happen, life is just too short. I just wish a peaceful solution could be reached so that all sides could live alongside each other, peace is not going to be easily reached though I suspect.
Can permanent peace out there ever be reached? Or do I just harbour a hope?

At least the threat of someone nuking you if you nuke them is helping steer clear of a war like that.

I went to Israel this summer and the day after I got there the war started.
But somehow I felt safe in Israel.
I would love to be able to say that there will be peace someday...
