Rowena, the girl who had just been sorted into Gryffindor looked at her head girl badge and smiled and looked at the Head's Table...

Lee-lee noticed that 2 seats were un-occupied, one belonged to Dinnas, but who was the new head...

Dinas rolled his eyes.

He couldn't believe it. This place was going to the dogs; as well as the appointment of the new head, Misty "Lee-lee" was head girl...

Lee-lee? Misty?

Terrin shook his head...

What kind of a head girl would someone called "Lee-lee" make? A new love potion concoction at best...

He would have to see to changing that particular appointment. He was head of discipline, and no lucky cheerleader was going to stop him..

Remmy walked in late, her prefect badge shining on her robes. After a glare from Professor Dinas, she promptly sat down in her designated seat. The sorting was nearly complete.

After the general welcoming and start of the feast, Remmy got up, brushed herself off, and walked over to the new head girl.

Lee-Lee?! she thought Lee-Lee. Misty. Ugh. Another 'hip hip hooray' type mucking up the school. So happy-smiley. Its almost obescene. I guess I'll have to put up with it, though.

As she neared the Gryffindor table, she put on her best smile and approached this 'Lee-Lee'.

"Umm, Hi I'm Remmy, one of the ravenclaw prefects" Remmy said, quite pleasantly, "I dont think we got the chance to meet earlier, I didn't take the train. I missed it by two minutes exactly. I'm always late, and I do apologize for it. Was there anything I missed in the prefects' meeting?"

The Sorting was over, and Terrin fetched the Hat and vanished the stool.

He walked calmly to the exit with the hat, and, after closing the door, tore off down the corridor to the Headmaster's Office and knocked on the door three times after telling the gargoyle the password "Eletrikity".

He waited by the door for about three seconds before it opened.

Peering at him from the other side was one Arthur Weasley.

"Hey, Remmy" She smiled to cover her thought...'This girl...a prefect???' She then gave a short summary of what her and Johnathon covered in the prefects meeting.

"Nice Meeting you..." Remmy said and walked to the Ravenclaw table.

'Now...there was just one quesstion she had yet to find out...who was Head Master???' she though once again.

The Great Hall's door's flew open...there stood Arthur Weasley...

So this was the new Headmaster- Arthur Weasley. Rowena had read something about him being a member of a secret society called The Order of the Phoenix: the people who had helped fight against Lord Voldemort, before he was defeated by Harry Potter.

Anyway- this was interesting. She now began to wander why he had been chosen: there must be something special about him, something hidden and unknown- guessing from the confused and puzzled looks of the older students and even some of the teachers.

As she thought about this some more, Arthur Weasley stepped forward to address the school.

Terrin couldn't stop smiling.

This was going to be an interesting year..

Lee-lee smiled.

As Artrhur Weasley walked down the middle of the hall...she clapped...this year is going to be a good year...and i know it thought Lee-lee...

Eventually others joined into the clapping...except a few scatteredaround and about half the Slytherins...

Professor Dinas glared at the Slytherins. They should know better these days...

The Slytherins visibly cowered, and joined in the clapping.

Clapping with most of the school, Rowena continued to look shrewdly at Professor Weasley- but she couldn't figure out why he was the new headmaster.
Relaxing a little, she noticed how most of the Slytherins stopped clapping very quickly- she had heard they were a distasteful bunch, apparently it was true.

Finally the feast was over, the speeches were made and she was gathering up all the Gryffindor first years and heading towards the doors into the Entrance Hall with Johnathyon in short pursuit.

When they arrived at the Fat Lady, she introduced the Gryffindor's to the Fat Lady and told them the password "Flobberworm" and led them inside...

Dinas finished his meal, and walked slowly back to his office, organising a final few things for his first lessons tomorrow.

Lee-lee walked into her dorm...'Head Girl' she though...'woooowww...I'm actually Head girl...'

She flopped herself onto her big double bed, in the Head Girl's dorm...

Ok, so the four-poster bed was really comfy and soft- but Rowena hadn't expected that she would be sharing a room with the other girls in her year and House. They had already started making little friendship groups based on what make-up they all liked, or who their parents were.

Instead of joining in, Rowena clambered into her bed- which completely dwarfed her- and pulled one of her new books out of her trunk. It happened to be The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk. Turning to the third chapter, she began to practise wand movements and incantations- and ignored the fact that the rest of the girls were whispeing about her.

He thought the pillow was quite fluffy really...
