The Servant of Lord Voldemort, or just the whole general book?

my favorite is in book 4, i don't know what its called, its the last chapter i don't feel like going and looking it up. the reason it is my favorite is because of dumbledore's speach, i think its really good and a little moving

Yeah those last few chapters in GoF are really good. That's what made that book for me.

That's what I like about some books, Sometimes, the author uses these really powerful words in a speech, and it just blows you away, and holds you in a trance. It happens in films as well, but here you get to use more imagination as well.

yeah, that was one thing i was really looking foward to in GoF movie, the speech, but when the old dumbledore died, it ruined it a little for me. The new guy is ok, and he looks a lot like the old guy, i mean he was his long time double, but he isn't as captivating on screen, and his voice doesn't hold the prescence dumbledore needs to have as well

In OotP I believe it may be the last chapter when Dumbledore explains to Harry why he chose not to tell him more is so moving. I hadn't felt this way the first time I read the book, but the 2nd and subsequent times I've reread the book it actually brings me to tears in this part. I wouldn't say it's my all time favorite part, but for me, because I find it so poingant it's perhaps the chapter that stands out most for me.

Yes, they do.

Though I suppose sometimes it's impossible to be completely true to the novel. It is a shame, though.

Book 5

Postby lovegood63 » Saturday 11 November 2006 11:31:04pm

I like the first chapter of the OOTP ( Dudley Demented) Because I was really feeling what Harry was feeling. I mean like I was literally telling Dudley off as i was reading it. ( laugh out loud, Just Kidding) i thought that chapter was really funny. I also liked in the fifth book when Harry was feeling what Voldermort was feeling when he wanted to bite Dumbledore. I liked it bc i wanted to bite some1 b4. lol jk
