Favourite Sunblock (Sunscreen) Scent.

Postby Bextra » Sunday 1 January 2006 5:03:15am

I just thought it'd be interesting to see how many kinds of sunblock scents are out in the world now.
So I'll go first.

I'm wearing Hawaiian Tropic and it smells sooooo good!

Well we're quite open to sunburn here Bextra. In quite a few places that have much warmer temperatures, you don't actually get sunburnt.

I just use plain.

Me too, plain. In California, it doesn't matter what you smell like, you just need a really good SPF. Especially here in the South Bay.

I don't know why I dont use sunscreen... I just don't... I'm 13 (14 in a few weeks) and I have only been sunburnt twice in my entire life. they were minor. One on my nose and one on my cheeks. i could touch them with no discomfort or pain whatsoever. If I do start to get sunburn more often, though, I will start using it, but seeing as it January and still winter, I don't need sunscreen now! maybe when june and july roll around I might be using it just to be safe... but I usually tan more than anything... as for when I do use it (twice a year... two consecutive days... my school has a field day type thing.. we're outside for quite a while) I use whatever we have in the house... its usually just the regular smelling kind...

But you live in the East! I mean it actually snows there. I suppose it might get warm in the Summer. Here, summer days are about 103 degrees. 120 if you live in the desert.

yep, good ol' Eastern seaboard. It actually isnt that cold this year. Its only like 30 degrees at lowest... it was snowing last year... not this year though. This year I can sit on my porch in the winter. It makes me happy.

Normally in the summer its 70's-80's... and we have the air conditioner up full blast. I couldnt survive in 100 degree weather. I'd burn up.

30 DEGREES!!!!!!! You serious? Man, I've never been in below 48. Which is actually bad, because I would be terrible at surviving in the Northern Canadian Wilderness :P.

Yeah, I guess. But I do better in heat because I'm adapted to it. I just can't stand the cold.

I cant stand cold feet (literally... figuratives we'll discuss later) I use blankets even in the summer... I have an upstairs bedroom. It's above the garage... (mostly) and it makes it FREEZING in my room. I had to move my bed under the vent to keep warm at night. But now the heat's messing up so I'm frezing under the vent.

I can just picture..... you why don't you sleep IN the vent? Er.... if you sustain fatal burns you relinquish the right to bring lawsuit under person in question, going by the alibi of Asphodel.

But I dont fit in the vent. Its only a bit bigger than my shoe. Which goes on my foot. Which is smaller than me.

Are you sure your shoe's smaller than you or are you just saying that?

Oh yeah, we're talking about shoe conspiracies, when the subject is sunblock.
