APPARITTION PROBLEM

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

you did make sense, but the house elves who work at hogwarts i suspect also live there so they would not have to dissaparate or appirate

yes you are right: they might live there. and thanks for telling me i made sense. but when i said about the need to apparate i was thinking about them movng inside the castle. i think it is a big castele. just think 7 floors! (7 it was? or it's just me dreamin' about 7 and it's power?...but the room of requierment was on the 7th floor. though it was not mentioned to be the last...) anyway my point is the castle is big. and house elves have to move around quick and unnoticed. think that they might make the halls crowded if they travelled thorugh the studens (as they can't apparate and they would have to be using more of them to get them to all the places in time).

The house elves inside Hogwarts would not be used to spy on anyone in the Order or do evil deeds because they are the property of the Headmaster/mistress. Beyond that, they all seem happy with their position and are treated very fairly, so there is no reason for them to disobey (Dobby and Kreacher were miserable).

I agree with Sunset|Girl; they need to apparate in the castle because otherwise their jobs couldn't get done. The system works and there is no reason for it to be changed.

I also agree with whoever said that most wizards are too proud to have house elves do work they should do (spying, killing, etc).

true but some wizards may feel creeping through the darkness spying on someone is too low for them to go so they send a servent to do it for them
