Ok, I just had a scary realisation.

I am-I'm waering the badge like Bill used to - and I'm holding the house cup and the Quiddich cup - I'm Quiddich captain, too.

Ok, Ron is a prefect so is a fair chance of becomming head boy, like Bill used to be. As the oldest player left on the Quiddich team (if Harry doesn't return to Hogwarts) Ron is a fair chance of becomming captain, and given recent history Gryffindor would have to be favorites to win both the house cup and the Quiddich cup.

Freaky huh.

He may have said he was going, but who's to say any of them go? What if they all return to hogwarts for a period of time? Just because ron said he was going with harry, that doesnt mean he's going to. or maybe he will, because harry stays at hogwarts.

his parents have always been dead.

But technically, his parents arent dead. They are alive in harry, lupin, you name it. Maybe he has had what he saw in the mirror all along.

But there also may be a possibility Harry returns to Hogwarts as it being the only place where he will be safe...As lond as everyone is still tru to DD Hogwarts will be safe...Then Harry will still be Quidditch Captain and may even become Head Boy as his father wasn't a prefect but was head boy...

Harry's not safe in the real world...so he might realise he needs further training to find the horcruxes so he returns to Hogwarts...

Oh well annother crazy theory itea potentially bites the dust.

That said, I would have suspected that Harry would go to Hogwarts as a kinda part time student, with Ron et al going full time. ie: using it as a base and working out of it. After all, I thought the original idea for the books was one for each of the gangs seven years at Hogwarts.

Ron may have wanted to be Head Boy and Captain of Quidditch but the mirror doesn't predict the future. It just shows what people want.

JKR said she has definitely written her last Quidditch match and so there will be no more of that in the final book. I think the reason there will be no more Quidditch is because Hogwarts will close for a period because parents will be too frightened to send their kids there. It's not safe any more is it.

and of course there's no World Cup on - that's only held every 4 years so we might get to hear at the end of Book 7 that they might go to it but we won't see it.

I was justy pointing out that in Ron's case it has a chance of comming true.

As far as returning to Hogwarts; that's not likely. Harry has to train, and that means constant travel and battle. He's not going to get any experience in a classroom. Plus, he's gotta learn and make up spells that are definitely not minstry approved

But Harry and Ron and Hermione may need to research something so they return to Hogwarts to study spells...they could even build their own spell...

I think they will definately return to Hogwarts even for a brief period of a few days or weeks but they will definately not stay for the whole year...
