why can't DUDY have a sister if harry got a sister, it would add even more of a twist.

she could be nice to harry or be like DUDY.

its not hard to see it she can be like skinny or fat like DUDY.

This is really interesting because my friend writes fanfiction and she really likes alternate universes. She wrote about the possibility of LV not going to Godric's Hollow, and Lilly and James have another child... a daughter.

Obviously if JKR did introduce a sibling now, it would take away from the whole point; everyone that has ever tried to protect him in a 'family way' has died. His parents, Sirius, Dumbledore. The point is that he has to be alone, he has to face Voldemort alone. There's no other way, it is his destiny.

A sister would give him what he'd always wanted; a family. And though I may sound heartless, he wouldn't be the hero he is if he had had an easy life (away from the Dursley's). Ron and Hermione are almost like family, I think that's the closest he's going to get.
