"The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy", though I didn't see it in a cinema. My dear Marvin was fantastic with Alan Rickman's voice! Amazing!

I saw Fantastic 4, batman begins, and war of the world's...
out of those 3
Batman Begins = worst [the beginning is boring and the beginning is a long time because batman begins......lol]

war of the world's = best

Whoever saw that movie answer one of my questions:

How did the guy stay alive if there was a big explosion where he ran to...?
Why didn't they just stay where they already attacked because they wont do it again?
Where was the little girl when they was screaming out her name like crazy?
How did the shield's just go away?
How were the people taking pictures and videotaping if all electric thingamajiggy's were out?
there is so much BS in that movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but out of those 3 it had a lot of action and i didn't rely like F4...

Because Steven Spielberg is obsessed with happy endings and the abilities of children, no matter how much it might defy logic and toss a wrench in the storytelling. Spielberg is a brilliant director, he really is but I just wish he would let go of the "perfect" and reunited familly ideal. If it's an apocalyptic story, I think that it's pretty much a given that people you love are going to die.

Robbie (the teenage son) ran into an explosion, and even if he somehow survived that, he would only be mowed down by all the tripods that caused the explosion. He has no military training, no weaponary or mode of transportation, so if the army gets vaporized, I think it's highly likely that he would too. Even if he (against all odds) survived the explosoin and was somehow able to be overlooked by the tripods, how did he survive? What did he eat and drink? How did he get all the way to Boston before Tom Cruise did?

So why did Robbie survive? Because that would make a happy endidng. It defies all logic, but it makes a happy ending. I really did like the film but Robbie being alive at the end really annoyed me.

Why didn't they just stay where they already attacked because they wont do it again?

I'm pretty sure that the tripods won't move on to the next city untill they are pretty sure that they've wiped out everything in the city that they are already in. So satying in one place would mean that they humans would have to somehow hide from the tripods, which would be far more difficult and scary than just running away. Even if someone did hide from them; most of the buildings would have been destroyed, so it would be hard to find shelter. Then there is the matter of finding food and water. And there is also the matter of hygene.

Where was the little girl when they was screaming out her name like crazy?

I can't remember which part you are talking about specificly here, sorry.

How did the shield's just go away?

The martians died because of all the germs and diseases that they contracted whilst they were here on Earth. With the martians dead, nobody is activating the tripods and shields.

How were the people taking pictures and videotaping if all electric thingamajiggy's were out?

Good question. :-?

I heard that War of the Worlds disapointed a lot of people, but I haven't seen it so I couldn't say for myself. I'll watch it when it comes out on HBO.

The last movie I saw was Fantastic Four...it was pretty good, better than I expected

Before that I saw Batman Begins and I really liked the movie. I liked that it wasn't all cartoony like the other Batman films...it wasn't cheesy. I can't wait to see the next Batman film.

Pssst!---sign up for Hogwarts prom in the great hall!
