Order of the Phoenix membership?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

My taste in men depends on what mood I'm in Stumpy. Aragorn when I fancy a real man but Legolas is also a favourite because I'm a sucker for a babyface..or if I could I'd have both at the same time..but let's not go there right here..

Anyway back on topic as Violet quite rightly mentions - way back at the beginning it was...

Samatha Scattergood for Waterstones - Which is your favourite member of The Order Of The Phoenix? JK Rowling: I keep killing all my favourite members of The Order Of The Phoenix, but there is one member of The Order Of The Phoenix that you have not yet met properly and you will, well, you know that they are a member, but you haven't really met them properly yet and you will meet them in seven, so I am looking forward to that.

So who does that mean? Who in the OOTP do we know is a member, but haven't really met properly?

I have a feeling we might get to hear about Dedalus Diggle. We met him in the Leaky Cauldron in Philosopher's Stone and In Order of the Phoenix collecting Harry from the Dursley's, but nothing really has been expanded on his character. He survived the original Order so he must be a reasonable wizard but we haven't seen him challenged yet.

I also feel Kingsley could be another decent option on this, but it depends whether JKR feels that it's time Charlie and Bill started to get in on the action. But we also haven't heard about the real Moody either.

It's a hard one...

Duh - why didn't we think about that before - Snape!!

We've really only had snippets of information about him and don't really know his true character.

yeah, and you and fweegal never revealed your sordid fantasies, so who do YOU prefer legolas or aragorn? ;)

and on topic....i would like to see more of kinglesy shacklebolt, who fweegal quite rightly in my opinion referred to as "the shaft of the order", in another thread. and perhaps aberforth, but i don't know if he's in the order, but it would certainly be interesting. i always did like goats...

Thestral, you'll be delighted to hear that Viggo Mortensen is in a new thriller coming out soon.
