Who will lead the Order?

Postby Froggs » Wednesday 20 July 2005 3:36:26pm

I got this idea from another thread, where someone mentioned that Lupin may lead the Order from now on and I thought it may deserve it's own section. I can't see Lupin leading the Order, he's too...um...inconsistant. I thought maybe McGonagal (sp?) but that may be too obvious, she's a powerful witch but she is also the new Headmisstress of Hogwarts. Maybe Harry will have a pivotal role in the Order now...I don't know, DD left a big hole

DD led the Order, I don't see why McG (lol) wouldn't do the same.

Might be Lupin.

It could very well be McG, but we never know if there were other members that werent mentioned yet.

I don't think it will be Lupin, or Tonks. I get the impression that tonks is young, and a bit inexperienced. Lupin knows a lot abuot defending the Dark Arts, apparently, but if something were to happen (or for that matter, be planned by Voldemort) on a full moon, what would become of the order? It would be a big weak spot if the leader was unable to do fight in a battle, or worse, attack the order.

Exactly right, that is why I doubt Lupin. I don't know, DD was such a great power to be reckoned with and no one can fill his shoes. They might just go plodding on without a new "leader".

It is possible that the Order as we know it might disband. There's no phoenix now...

They may well go plodding on without a leader, but what of the many functions that DD used to carry out? Who is the new secret keeper? Who will take decisions on the direction the war will take (for the Order, ofcourse)?

Can i make a suggestion, refresh is a good tool to use if you want to see the latest messages etc. F5 on your keyboard, or on the Edit menu or on the toolbar.

Lupin can still lead as only in a full moon does he turn and if he has his potion he keeps his mind!

It hadn't occurred to me either until I saw the header of this feed and realised - obviously it didn't make sense.

I think they will have to disband and a new alliance formed which will have to involve Scrim_whathisname. (can't remember how to spell it!)

On that note think I'll jump to one of the other feeds that predict what should happen in book 7.

I think that for a while they'll have no leader and that Harry will indeed go on his own after Voldemort (or with Ron and Hermione accompanying him) and the Order will be struggling for a while. Voldemort did it cleverly when he had the leader killed... :( However, since these are hard times, the Order can't afford to be split, so maybe... I don't know, I'm not sure if there is a personality as strong as Dumbledore was.

The Order will stay together, it's quite large.
Sure I'd say the wedding will be interesting. All the Order members will be there so I'm sure there'll be discussions.

Moody would be a good person to lead.

My guess is either Lupin or McG.

And more Kingsley Shacklebolt! What a name!!!
