Lupin and Tonks --- Fleur and Bill

Hi everyone !
What do u think of Lupin and Tonks? With Harry and Ginny and Hermione and Ron, they just pass unnoticed. Do u think they're a good couple ? I personnaly think that s godd that Lupin has someone but I thought Tonks would go out with someone younger (like Bill).

By the way, do u like Fleur ? At the beginning of the book I really couldn't stand her and I was just astonished when she said she would dtay with Bill. [/list]

i like the tonks/lupin storyline. i think it is nice that they found a little romance during all the turmoil. it's ok that he's older, i think he could have a bit of a calming effect on tonks.
as for fleur, no. i still don't like her. didn't like her in book 4, don't like her now. she's AWFUL to molly. bill could do better i think.

Fleur is just sooo rude! I mean who says things like "this song is awful" ? But I think she really does love Bill.

Lupin and Tonks are okay, So am I guessing correctly when I say that Tonks was not upset by Sirius's death but because Lupin was now more envolved with dangerous Werewolves? I admit to beng a bit slow sometimes

( i loved harry's comment to ginny about fleur being ugly. that was classic). i find it amusing that being in love with lupin made tonks less good looking. also, i'm confused. did her patronus become a wolf? what was it before?

She wasn't as good looking because she was worried about Lupin. She "let herself go" (no sleep, lost weight) and could not even change her hair color with her special abilities. I don't know what her patronus was before, but I think the new one was a werewolf.

In all fairness, that's not Ron's fault. He's just caught in her aura. He evne says that he's trying to get used to her, but her aura is hard to deal with when she jumps out at you

and in Fleur's defence, she's french. To the brits, all french are just a bit, er, grating

Fleur is a little tactless, but she made up for all that when she refused to give up on Bill. She may give Mrs. Weasley a head full of gray, but she's good for Bill.

Tonks lost herself bc she was worried for Lupin and also bc Lupin wouldn't let her love him. She was grief-stricken that he wouldn't let her close. She pleads with him in the hospital at the end. But, they get together and all is well, even when it's not.

To the brits, all french are just a bit, er, grating

errr. no. i'm british and on my recent europe trip, i found the french people so polite and helpful even though i didn't speak and word of french. then when i got to london the people were soooooo rude to me stared at me like i had three heads if i asked a question. i'm going to live in paris when i have enough money, ahhh sweet pari.

i think JKR is using the stereotype we give the french to highlight how protective she is over her children, maybe cos she'll loose one??? or to show how against Ron going she is?? or if she lets him go how much she trusts harry?? just theories not wot i believe.
I like Tonks and Lupin hopefully he'll get some confidence back!

i think they make a cute couple, the way that lupin was telling her that he thought she should be with someone younger and all that shows how much he cares for her and that he thinks that she deserves better. And the way that tonks was telling him that all that didnt matter to her; i definately think they make a good couple

-He's been getting worse with every passing book.
-He's spying on werewolves for the Order.

Also, he's the last father figure that Harry has, and JKR has a hankering for denying Harry anything resembling a family.
I think it would be an interesting ending if the whole gang of friends, Wormtail included, are killed.

Just seems within reason, given Rowling's body count so far.

yeah but the thing is by the end of the nexr book he wont have to spy on the werewolves any more, things with voldermort will be over, and well he hasnt been as strong a father figure for harry than any of the other characters that have died. i dont think that jk has the intention of killing off the james, sirius and remus.
