the weasley kids

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Athena is right about getting money out of Harry vault for school supplies. In one of the books I think CoS they all go to Gringotts together and they hit the Weasley vault first and Molly gets everything out (Checking the corners as well)
Then when they go to Harry's vault he feels embarrased by the amount of gold sitting in his vault.

Then in GoF she said to Harry to leave out his school list and when they all returned I am pretty sure she mentioned that she got a little money (for spending) out of his vault for him. Not sure on that though :???:

But either way the Weasleys are the best family depicted in books that I have come across yet.
Now most of you folks are probably better read than I am so you may not agree with this last bit. :D

I agree with you... and even though I despise Percy, he did what he considered to be the honorable thing, and it had to have been very very difficult for him. So the Weasleys ROCK!

Yeah, Mrs. Weasley does the shopping, but she usually mentions that she went to Harry's vault, either before, or after, when she hands him some extra spending money.

MORE WEASLEYS!!!!!!!!!!!

More Weasleys

More Weasleys = More Malfoys

Anything in JKR's world and in our world too, has + and - pole. You know, yin yang, blah, blah, blah, the sum of all the good and all the evil is always zero.

Like my equation? :evil grin: Still want more Weasleys?
I certanly do, because I enjoy reading about encounters of 2 families, crash of cultures, anytime when Weasleys meet the Malfoys is tension in the air, theese parts of books rule!
In real life: yes, I want more people to be different, more extreme, to dare stand up for their own values (whatever the values are), I want more people to get rid of conformism, to find their identity, whether Weasley-good or Malfoy-mean

There have to be more Weasleys. I mean, they grow them in teh garden... don't they? I'm not fond of Percy by any means, but he is still a member of the family and I can't stop myself from wanting them to reconsile so Molly will stop crying

Arthur Weasley was always cool...he is no idiot, he is just kind-hearted and good natured.

I don't think Arthur Weasley is inept. All the Weasley children are very talented (really, with Ron being the least bit, but he's still got some power in his punch). Not only that, they are all strong-willed, and stand up for their beliefs (unfortunately, Percy's beliefs differed from the rest of the family, but he still stood up for them, even when it meant his being the estranged son)... I feel like Arthur and Molly have a lot to do with the talent and personalities of their children, and, while Arthur is a fun character because of his obsession with Muggles, I think he's not one to tangle with.

i couldn't agree more :)

Just think of Arthur's flying car, that doesn't seem to be a very common thing, and I'm sure it takes some skills to produce them. Only Sirius had something similar.

Apart from that, Bill, Charlie and Percy all were head boys, Ron is prefect, I'm sure Ginny will be too, and the twins are simply brilliant. I mean, the things they invent might be fun stuff, but they're apparently complicated works of magic.
And weren't it Molly's brother about which Moody said it took 5 Death Eaters to kill them? 5 against 2, there needs to be some talent in the family.

the only dim-wit of the group is percy... but you have to admit, he has a knack(sp?) for getting on people's nerves!

percy's clever, he just made a mistake. when fred and george were discovered by Mrs weasley with their order forms, that was a mistake, so they all make them.

i think Aruther is awesome he cares for his kids and he enjoys his work. the weasley's are a wounderful family they care for kids that aren't their own. So what if they have hand-me-downs they are wonderful

i luuuuuvvvv the weasleys, they each have great personalities, great sense of humour(except percy of course...), and they are all really strong, talented, wizards with a strong sense of right and wrong. they follow their moral convictions and don't give a damn what they look like as long as they do the right thing. and if i didn't hate fudge and the ministry so much i would have to admire percy a little, cos it takes guts to go against your upbringing and entire family.

go weasleys go!!! ohh imagine a battle of all the weasleys against all the malfoys, i'd pay money to see that

incidentally just remebered (sorry if this is a double post!) but contrary to the idea that weasel are cowardly creatures that would sell their services to the highest bidder. they are actually one of the bravest animals, the mother will fight to the death to defend her own children and she'll never run away, even if it's a fox or something ten timies bigger than her, she'll stay and fight until she is killed.

so the weasleys although percieved by reputation as poor and lacking wizarding pride, there's alot more to them than meets the eye they're actually very powerful and contradict the inaccurate public perception (not helped by people like fudge, malfoy and the daily prophet  ). need to look beneath the surface reputation which is complatly distorted and you can see real strength. also molly is very much the mother weasel, she would die to protect her family.

i just thought that the true description of a weasel was a very accurate description of the weasleys
