I went to see Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy last night, totally brilliant film...so weird in an unpredictable but extremely funny kind of way. (I haven't read the books etc)

And also, Alan Rickman plays the voice of Marvin *drools*

Here is the trailer for the upcoming movie Serenity:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/serenity/

I hope this film does really well. Joss Whedon (creative genius behind Buffy and Angel) originally wanted to do a TV series called Firefly which is what this movie is based on. Unfortunetly it only lasted 14 episodes. The morons at Fox axed it the moment they could replace it with baseball. They showed the episodes out of order too, and really messed around with the timeslot.

I caught a few eppisodes and it was quite a good show. It's a sci-fi/western, about a bunch of people who operate a spaceship called Serenity. Fox really did shoot themselves in the foot by cancelling this show. When the episodes were put onto a DVD, Amazon sold out of the DVD's almost imediatly. Now Universal has the rights to do the movie. I am totally going to see this.

Was it good? My dad and I are going to go see it.

I just saw Jet Li's UNLEASHED...wow, excellant movie if y'all ever get to see it. Personally, I think its his best performance.
I also saw

XXX State--it was ok
Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy--some good humor but boring.

Ok, Kingdom of Heaven was Ridley Scotts best film and Orlando Blooms best performance. Although I don't know much about the crusades so whether its accurate or not is beyond me. But I thought some of the photography in the film was just amazing.

I saw Star Wars, episode III last night.

Wow. What a way to end it.

Here in Australia it got an M15+ rating, and in the US it got a PG13 rating. Every other Star Wars film got a PG in Australia and (I'm quite sure) a PG in America. It is very, very dark and disturbing. Personally, I wouldn't take kids to go see it. An awesome film for Star Wars fans though :D
