My favorite was in Book Three: the prisoner of Azkaban.

The Servant of Lord Voldemort...just loved the whole scene with Pettigrew and what not :-)

I have three. Yes I know, you were asking for one but I couldn't decide. The first one was from GoF same as Phoenix in the Ashes, Flesh Blood and Bone.

The second one is from OotP, I don't know what its called....The Weasly's Great Escape...???

The third is the chapter when DD fights Voldemort. That was sweet.

(Just to give my top few...)

1. GoF- Flesh, Bone and Bone.
2. OoTP- The Centuar and the Sneak.
3. OoTP- The Weasley's Exit (Could someone pleeease tell me what that chapter is called!!!)
4. PoA- The Servant of Lord Voldemort.
5. GoF- The Third Task.
6. OoTP- Detention with Dolores (Don't ask why.......)
7. PoA- Hermione's Secret.
8. PoA- Aunt Marge's Big Mistake.
9. GoF- Veritaserum.
10. HBP-Some chapter! (There's gotta be a scene in there that I love!!!

the chapter where the twins make their great escape is called "Careers Advice", and yeah that's a fantastic chapter! i think Occlumency is a great chapet too, so is the Unforgivable curses in book 4! i love Beyond the Veil as well- despite what happens in that chapter! :grin:

Yeah, the Unforgivable Curses Chapter was a good one too. There's something about the three curses that just makes me want them to be used more often. Maybe its because they are illegal in the Wizarding world. I don't know.

Ah! Carees Advice! That's It!
Now I remember why I enjoyed it so much. Adding to Fred & George's departure, we also had the very very funyn little shojwdown between Umbridge and Mcgonagall (which coincedentally pretty much told us that Harry is going to become and auror, due to the fact that Minerva told him she was going to help him and dedicate all her time to personally making him into an auror. Lol... oh that was funny.
Ok this is just a random one-liner from OoTP The Centaur and the Sneak, which I just think is awesome. Just the way it is written, I can imagine someone saying it in such a funny way. I laughed out loud when I read this. Just imagine DD blowing away like four or five heavily trained members of the Ministry like that! And then disappearing in a whiff of smoke. I think this is completely adequate for that moment: "I disagree with Dumbeldore on many counts... but you cannot deny he's got style..."
That just sums up the book for me! :grin:

(Adding the my fav. chapters, I must also say that my favourite series of consecutive chapters are chapters 25 to 29, in OoTP. They are some of the funniest I've ever read. The serious one's might be in PoA or OoTP at the end, but these are: The Beetle at Bay, Seen and Unforeseen, The Centaur and the Sneak, Snape's Worst Memory, and Career's Advice. There are some grand pieces of writing in there!

Career advices was great, as are Flesh, Blood and Bones. But I guess my all time favourite is the opening chapter of GoF-The Riddle House, I think.

But if he doesnt die, then I am a firm believer he will become the DADA teacher..all of this hogwash about him being a quidditch player for england, or an Auror is completely Bogus. A hero being a common entertainer, I don't think so. And Harry will never make it into Snapes N.E.W.T. class.
