Lol when I'm bored I read HP1, coz it's short.
I don't read HP2 anymore really, it's my least fav book so I generally read the others. The 15 come from when the 5th and 4th were out.
HP3 is absolutely wicked. I remember once I just went on a reading frenzy and read that book like 10 times in a row... it's been a while though now. I'm reading so many other books I don't read the first 3 much anymore.
HP4 & 5 are my favourites. They haven't been out for as long, and they are a little bit longer, so I haven't read them that much. Sometimes I pick them up from the middle and read from there and stuff, so I don't count them. I'm gonna read 4 & 5 again 3 times more just before HBP comes out, so I can pick it up straight away.

i always read the books in order, and im such a fast reader, i can make it in a few days... i have too much time on my hands!!

but, i read so fast i dont look at hte chapter headings, so when somone says "chapter 15 was ace!!!" i go "what happened?" :lol:

its kinda sad.

ive had them since the PS first came out in england, so thats around 8 yrs. in total, ive read
1st 10 times,
2nd 9,
3rd 9,
4th 9,
5th 10.

42 times? Hell, that really impresses me. If you mean read as in beginning to end, I have to confess I read them only twice, in german and in english. But I connstantly read parts in no special order, everytime I have a theory or something. And I have a rather good memory, I guess I can quote everything my favourite characters ever said if you wake me at 3 o'clock in the morning.

Some people can read the books a hundered times, and still find something new that they didn't noticed, simply because they don't read every line probably. Your knowledge of the books Siana, considering you've only read them about twice each, is quite amazing. You must have a very good memory.
From reading through this topic, I think our champion for the most times read is Lexi_potter, who read them all around 40 times, except the 5th which he has read 30. Considering Bk4 & 5 are so much longer than the others, and OoTP has only been out 1 and a half years, that's quite an achievment. Congrats. Anyone longer than that repeat your post and prove me wrong 'coz I haven't seen it lol. The record is 194.
I've only got 117....

i have read almost all the books 10 times each and i have always enjoyed them and i have a question or two ......

1. in the 5th book: i was wondering why lord voldermorts death eaters kill Sirius?
2. in the 2th book why does harry try to kill himself?

Well, the Death Eaters killed Sirius becuae he is in the Order of the Pheonix. The Death Eaters are bad guy, the Order are good guys, Sirius was a good guy, there was a conflict so they killed him. Simple really. If they didn't kill him, he would have helped Harry escape.

And I do not recall Harry trying to kill himself. When did that happen?

i think i've read them about 2 times each....i cant reallly remember but they were really good! I like the 5th book the best though.....it took me less than a month to read all of them!

well herminoe granger is my best friend in the whole world....ive known her for a long time....she has read them all like twice except the 3rd orth and fifth.... :oops:
