Which plot turn would you hate to become true?

Which theory would you hate to become true? Is there any plot turn that would make you burn your Harry Potter books on a stake? I don't mean that they're likely to come true. Something like 'At the end, Harry wakes up and everything was just a dream..."

Personally, what I'd hate the most would be the theory that Snape had a thing for Lily coming true. No, please, just no!

I'd hate for the idea that Hagrid is working for Voldy to come true, that or Ron turning on Harry

what i wouldnt like to come true are all the strange romance theories... you kno, sirius and lupin are gay lovers, the one you mentioned siana... this is not a soap opera i just wish people wouldnt treat it like that

slightly more likely, but still annoying, is that harry will kill LV with AK. its just not right. AK is for people who really hate, and really want to destroy som1, and enjoy it. harry isnt like that, and i would be really annoyed if that happened.

Yes, romantic theories. Lupin would hook up with ... eh, Tonks? Harry with someone else, everyone with someone and they'd live happily ever after. But that's not likely to happen (sure some of it yes, but the emphasis would be on other things than romance, hopefully).

Another thing I wouldn't like to see is Lupin dying and Pettigrew killing him. That's a rather believable theory (with his silver hand), but too obvious for someone like JKR. And I wouldn't like to see Harry using Avada Kedavra either. Anyway, I would also be very, very angry if Snape turns out to be on Voldie's side...

Oh yes, I'd hate that too! Snape on Voldie's side, that is. On the other hand, I wouldn't like Snape to become nice, I mean, like "You know Harry, I never really hated you, but I had to keep up my cover..."
And I don't want the giant squid to be the HBP.

I agree with you Siana. I wouldn't want Snape to become "nice," (as in sickening nice) although I wouldn't mind seeing Harry and Snape become a tiny bit more respectful of each other. There's lots of room in there for growth without being corny.

I hate to say this because I really love this character, but I would really hate it if some of the "DD is really evil" theories were true. At that point the books would take on a Lewis Carroll/Alice in Wonderland/Rosemary's Baby type of quality where you can't tell who's really on your side and who isn't.

I've heard theories that Voldermort is Harry's father. I am very glad that JKR has dispelled these rumours.

I would hate for sius to ACTUALLY be dead. As of now, I strongly believe that he is alive, just, well, misplaced

Actually, that's another thing I wouldn't like - Sirius suddenly turning up alive and all happy... I like him, but such a return from the dead would be... odd.

And I'm really, really glad that Voldie isn't Harry's father, grandfather, godfather... or other family.

Snape becoming nice? No way. Not in the way like "I just had to pretend to be evil, dear Harry..."

Hm, I'd actually hate it if Sirius turned out to be anything else but dead. Not that I didn't like him or didn't find his death sad, but unnecessary deaths are what happens in a war, bringing him back would be...well, cheesy.

I'd hate it

-if Voldemort was redeemed
-if Hermione's last words were "Oh Viktor, please, don't write Hermione with three n on my gravestone!"
-if Voldemort and the ministry were conspiring, closed Hogwarts, abducted Hermione into the Arctic, Harry went to rescue her, accidentally destroyed their secret base, then Hogwarts's reopened. (Though 'Harry Potter: Fight the Future' would make a cool title )
-if Harry defeated Voldemort, but found out he carried his offspring and killed himself in self-sacrifice...(Though of course he will be cloned, I'm already looking forward to Harry Potter 9: Voldie vs. Predator)

the worst thing that could happen would be for JKR to die suddenly, and never write book 7 the horror!!!!!!!!

seriously though, if some of the really evil characters, like umbridge, went good, that would just be sad. basically, i would hate for any of those really corny things to happen.
