First of all, I'm not trying to say that Harry will join Voldemort or become his successor or what. I'm just wondering about this:
Harry has shown an increasing tendency to wrath and anger. In the first books, his actions were merely motivated by "good" feelings, for example the need to help his friends or to prevent a crime, whereas now, his thoughts are dominated by anger and even hatred. Also, he more and more separates from his friends. In the first books, he told them almost everything, while now he choses to be alone with his problems. What I mean is: Harry is far from being a careless boy. Not that he ever was, but he is becoming more and more depressed and angry. He's lost Sirius and even feels misunderstood by Dumbledore, and that just at a moment when he's to play a major part in a cold and bloody war. He will lose more people that are close to him, and he himself will have to take lives.
In his DADA training, he might come in contact with curses he can't cope with. He's already tried to use Cruciatus and he might as well be forced to use Avada Kedavra for defense. Is that confused and angry boy really strong enough to handle that? The dark arts are powerful, you really don't need to have evil intentions to get lost in them. Remember that Crouch Sr. was said to have become just as evil as the Death Eaters in his attempts to fight them. I think it might happen to Harry as well, if only temporarily.
