that sounded stupid
Interesting. Scabbers was in the background for a while until, in the latter part of book 3, his true nature and identity was revealed to us. I know Crookshanks isn't an animagus according to JKR's website I believe (more likely, a kneazle), but perhaps, in Chapter 14, we will learn more about Crookshanks or Mrs. Figg's cats, or why Professor McGongall's animagus is a cat, or why Ginny is described as making cat-like noises or curling up like a cat. You get my drift.
Spinners End sounds like a place to me...perhaps that's where Harry goes since his stay at Privet Drive is the shortest ever (making it less than 4 weeks). I'm sure some of this has already been discussed. Maybe Spinners End is the new Headquarters for the Order. I read somewhere (maybe it was here...I cruised a number of posts before joining) that someone thought "Spinners End" referred to the end of people spinning tales about Dumbledore and Harry. It could be something else entirely! Tanuki, what's your unique take on this?
Draco's Detour, as someone said, may be indeed background on how Draco came to be the person he is. Or, it may be a literal detour. But a detour from or to what? Chapter 6 is usually around the time Harry goes to Hogwarts and sees Draco...perhaps Draco and his cronies take off somewhere and Harry follows them? Really not sure with this one...all I know is based on what he said at the end of book 5, Draco is definitely looking to make Harry pay.
Not much time now until book 6 is released!!
