hahahahaha my mistake...I remembered the wrong thing
and since you have played Suikoden III before, and me Suikoden I and II...
so the conclusion is that...
Suikoden IV is set 150 years before Suikoden I and I suspect it to be talking about the Legendary Rune War (You know the old rune woman who always appear out of nowhere to hand you the True Rune. She's the keeper of runes...and she might play a part in it?)

hmm may be ^-^

The thing that bugs me the most about S4 is the faces of the characters. ESP the main character - I mean it looks completely smooshed!! Search for the picks for S4 and look at him  he looks like a buldog XD lols.

Star Ocean on the other hand - soooo pretty. I just saw another movie in it - oh its the best. The main character cast this most beautiful spell ever!! Lots of wings and feathers (lol I love feathers) And everyone looks so good too *-* I hope PS3 will come out soon so may be you will pick this game up and see it. soo pretty!! (Im sure they they will make PS3 compatible with PS1 and 2 games... o.o)

I want to play that game today!!!! too bad I won't have any time T_T

Oh no, not the game tester! >.<

I doubt they get payed much, there are alot of volenteers for that kind of job. And you are right, I saw game testers on TV ones and they looked like 100% geeks.

(Speaking of TV, we have a game channel and its funny - all of the female reporters are always attractive looking, but all of the guys are....well...not gonna say it... Not fair I say XD)

If anyone is thinking of going into game business -they should become game developers. I'm sure it pays a whole lot more, it doesn't sound too bad, and its not like you are playing games - its just like a programming job, I imagine... ^^ (lolz, i shouldn't be talking, i have no idea what they do in there)

those programming jobs are given to those programmers
as game developer, you are just responsible for coming out with the idea and storyline! (I hope so)

lol, yeah in some of the games presence of storyline is ...questionable XD

I see. I thought developer would be someone actually working on the programing of the game.

I wonder if there is a specific language that is used for programming vgames, I mean, can a regular programmer be hired for a job? or do they need to know smth else o.o

eh...i am not so sure
but i suppose those who study in IT enginneering or computing should be able to get a job? and thereafter, you learn as you work?

it seems so to me. gain EXP as you work! haha

lol I didn't see you last post Choki XD haha guess so ^-^

I bought Suikoden IV! Started playing it 2 days ago!

Thoughts so far:
the main guy characters run very feminine, you can seriously mistake them for girls when they run.
main character is mute and looks like a buldog. In fact he has very little expressions. Very scary looking, I don't know how characters don't yell and run when they see him.
There are...*gasp* sea battles and such o_o'
If you run up to the pigeons they fly up XD I found it very intertaining.
Dogs/cats walk very very fake, like they are paralized or smth
Very pleasant intro song (La Mer by Coba)
The story is very interesting so far.

Oooh Suikoden IV!
Yeah I heard a lot of ppl saying most of the battles/exploring are at the sea
So is the main character's true rune awesome? Suikoden I has Souleater rune which is kinda scary, Suikoden II has Bright Shield Rune which is protective, Suikoden III has the True Elements (fire, water, thunder, earth, wind) Runes.

Suikoden IV has the Punishment Rune, right?
