Shitennou hmmm the four generals of Prince Endymion that goes by the name, Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, Kunzite. They were the villians in dark kingdom arc. LOL seriously, there are way too many villians in all the arcs.

And in the live action, everyone get paired up!
The famous pair - Usagi & Mamoru
Makoto & Motoki (awww such a cute couple)
Ami & Nephrite (a little hint here and there later in the series)

And OMG....the next one will shock you!!!
Rei & Minako  (of course, it is not stated clearly but we have eyes to see hahaha...or maybe it is just me thinking that way :evil grin: )

 lols what can i say? it would be sailormoon-like  Intersting interesting - its not like manga or anime

I downloaded a random episode (i forgot which ones you recommended) Its where SailorV tells Sailor Moon that Tuxido Mask is dangerous and is their enemy.

I only saw first part of the episode but - LOL Usagi goes to the dry cleaning place (at least thats what I think it is), sees the guy working there holding the tuxido and assumes that HE is the tuxido mask XD -_- helooo? I though she was gonna come up and ask him who left the tuxido there, not stare at him like that :o

the girls are pretty I agree ^-^ , will finish watching it today ^.^

By the way did you get a chance to watch Moon Phrase?

They will be our answer to Haruka and Michiru but less obvious though

Dry cleaning area? That's Crown! But instead of an arcade, it is now a karaoke lounge. That owner is Motoki - the future boyfriend of Makoto (I hope)
Oh actually there is going to be a special act after the final episode. It is about 5 years later - Usagi and Mamoru are getting married. And guess who's the best man...Motoki! And best maid...Makoto perhaps??? They are perfect together! One likes turtle and the other erm...wears a green fuku.

Haha...I wanted to watch Moon Phase but my PC went beserk on me and I can't watch it now! :(

aww, i would love to see their wedding ^-^ !!

karaoke lounge? than why was he holding ripped tuxedo?? o.o (i still didn't get to finish the episode)

Your computer doesn't like you Choki. Unfortunately I have problems too - some sort of Add-program downloaded itself on our computer and it is crashing it all the time. T_T We need to totally reformat it but its gonna take too long <_<' So its spamming my internet, and runs smth to kill my virtual memory. And there is no way to get rid of it - whoever created the program must have lots of money to hire best programmers.

Anyways - I did watch anime on TV this weekend. Pretear (its almost over o.o), Witch Hunter Robin, Magical Play (the weirdest anime...) and guess what? They started showing Gravitaion on TV now XD....and i watched 2nd episode of it X.X - its just like a regular girly drama. I already know who is gonna fall in love with whom, who is gonna be jealous of whom, and so on. One of the guys is really cute, but I know that he will be hurt (emotionally) most of all. poor thing. lol, I saw 2 eps. of it and its already full of soap.

He got the ripped tuxedo from Mamoru (his friend as seen it that episode you watched) who wanted Motoki to mend it. I think Mamoru cut his tuxedo from the previous episode. The place where they had the cute little room is in Crown Karaoke. So when Usagi spotted the tuxedo there, she immediately thought that it belongs to Tuxedo Mask.

I fixed my pc already....spent quite sometime reformatting it (I have reformatted it countless time this year :( )
Anyway I doubt I can continue to d/l anime via b********t or anything else. My country govt is going to track down users with exceptionally high bandwidth (stamping down on illegal d/l). Unfortunately, most fansub animes files sizes are equivalent to close to 20 MP3 songs. So to watch the whole series...you'll be inviting policemen to knock on your door. I'm sure you know how harsh/strict Singapore law is. Well, I guess that is the price to pay for living in one of the safest places on Earth. Not that I'm complaining...I guess it is just more money to be spent on DVDs :-?

No I didn't know you had strict rules o.o really? *feels shtupid*

^-^ Well, its totally illigal here too. Buuut, noone cares about anime <_< They go after people downloading US or Europe produced movies.

As for songs, you need to download quite a lot of them in order to get in trouble - and they have to be smth else then anime/game songs o.o like they go after popular ones.......

meh, that sucks! well - anime at your country are not as expensive as here. You really need that anime channel! that would be cool!
*hugs her anime on demand* Lol, yesterday all of the channels had election on, so after watching it for couple of hours  I just switched to new anime episodes XD.

aww, I still have SM movie collection! I gave away everything xcept that and 1 DVD.

I can't believe that they actually specified fansubs :o ....I mean - wow!! I'm glad they didn't sniff us out here  , althought with our new anime channel - I don't care anymore ^-^

Do all of your friends watch anime? I wonder if more teenagers are getting into it here...It wasn't known at all when I was a teen.

Grading is a good idea - in some cases you will never know until you start watching it. (like angel kurume or whatever she was called)

Definitely not all my friends watch anime, but some of them do and they are crazier than me. Their pc are nothing but fansub animes and cupboards full of manga and anime.

Hmmm perhaps it took longer for anime to break into US market. The early 90s was the rising age for anime in Japan and Asia. And now....anime/manga has become a part of Japanese culture.

yet I used to be at this anime forum and they said that even though "anime is part of Japan culture" - anime in Japan is only acceptable for little kids. All the members who live in Japan said that watching anime for adults is not acceptable and teenagers get bullied for it o.o

Oh, speaking of crazy - yesterday I renewed my subscription to Newtype ^-^ its very expensive, in fact its the most expesive magazine that I have ever seen.

But its soo much fun!! its the only nice thing that comes in the mail!!! (the rest are bills -__-)

Do you have anime magazines?

Serious???? Adults don't watch anime or manga??? Woooo, I thought it was a nation wide hobby.

I don't collect those anime magazines because I think most of them are like repeating what others have said. I prefer reading from anime/manga forum and the popular series are usually quite good (duh  )
What do the anime magazines contain? Reviews? Manga strips? Fan arts?

I always walk past the japanese magazine section and sees stacks of thick manga magazine. But I can't read it o_o'''

Yeah, thats what most of the people (leaving outside of Japan) think!!! We were sooo surprised to hear that its avoided by adults and older teens.

For example, this one guy,in his upper 20s, said that he would never in his life mention that he is an anime fan to his coworkers. And he said that the funny thing is - he is sure that some of his coworkers enjoy anime too, but noone would say anything about it, as they are afraid of being shunned...

He said that they had this serial killer that would do horrific things to kids (i was in shock for a week when I read it) and when they found his place - he had toons of anime tapes and all. So now if you are an adult and watching anime - there is this horrible association people have with you.

:o and then a lot of teens (like older then 14) complained that if they would talk about that in school they would get bullied (unless anime that they are watching has a very high rating I guess)...
-------------------------------------------

Anyway, on the lighter note.. Anime magazine has:
Couple of pretty double pages with big picks and intros to characters to brand new (some not yet released in US) or just popular shows. Little summaries/character picks for "just came out" shows, "Art of ...(show name)... (basically the character designs),
New games reviews, new manga reviews, new CDs reveiws, tips for drawing on photoshop, fanart, summaries of new episodes for shows in japan (why they do it is beyong me...), schedule for US. List of everything new anime/manga related that will come out in US. And so on...

Plus it includes a centerfold and a DVD with 2 episodes of some new shows and bunch of trailers...They used to give us free poster and stickers but not anymore.

I dont read it really..may be just a little XD, I just look at pictures and watch the DVD. <.<

Oooh freebies haha....then it is kinda of diff from my local anime magazine. The market isn't big enough for them to issue free anime previews. Anyway with the massive d/l of fansub, most of us can live without magazine hahaha. And plus, there is an anime forum created by my fellow country mates so they kinda discuss what is the latest and the best. I just have to read those and I will know all about it. There's a section on games/manga/cosplay as well.

yesh, but it doesn't have pretty pictures  lots of them too! (the magazine is pretty big XP)

I don't go to anime forums anymore... so its the only way I find out about things. Plus - getting free episodes everymonth is pretty cool. And they give you a choice of watching it subtitled or dubbed. They have gotten to be really good at dubbing lately, so I always watch them dubbed.

The catch with all that is the price..... ...... $90 for a year subscription x_x'

Oh well. It costs the same as it is in Japan ^-^ Newtype is Japanese magazine for anime. They just openned up a place here in US, thats why we get a lot of "what is going on in Japan" sections and exclusive interviews with japanese voice actors and creators that I dont care about really... <_<'

I'm currently reading a manga called Death Note
And seriously this manga is interesting but it is very dark and mind bogging as well.
It's about a high school student who accidentally came upon Death Note (a notebook which control death by writing down the name and have the image of the person in your mind whom you wanted dead)
Initially, he thought nothing of the book. Until he got bored one day and saw a live news broadcast about a baddie holding a couple of students as hostage. So he wrote the name of the baddie and within 40 sec, the man died...........
