Help?

How come, when I try to post messages on a certain computer, I come up with a screen that says Invalid_session? And I'm automatically logged in, and everything. It's only this one computer at home that does that constantly . . .

I only get that message if my ISP logs me out of my entire internet connection and I have to log back on to the internet again - In my case it's because I'm given a different IP number when I log back on to the internet and the board recognises that I'm on a different IP to when I first signed in to the session, so it thinks I may be a different person. Do you have a strange internet provider that chops and changes your IP number all the time? Also, do you have cookies enabled?

When you say it gives you that message constantly, does it always do it (ie have you never been able to post any messages at all from home) or just very often?

I think it's my computer's problem. I have two computers at home, and it happens constantly (I mean, all the time), on one of them. I tested the other computer at home and the computers at school, and they seem to work fine. So, I guess I'll be fiddling around with my computers when I really should be studying . . .

It does sound like some problem with something on that particular computer. Do both of your computers at home sign up through the same Internet access provider?

Hmm, very odd. I was going to suggest trying a different access provider on the computer that you have the problem on, but maybe that's not possible. Do you have cookies enabled and what browser are you using on the computer where you're having the problem?
