[Phoenix in the Ashes]

Torchwood is one of the only shows I've seen that actually gets better as the episodes and seasons progress. I didn't think the first season was especially inspirational, but I stuck with it (even though it screened at about 11.30 pm here in NZ) and by the time season 2 came around it was really starting to up the ante with its storylines. I understand there was a miniseries produced that took the place of season 3, though that hasn't reached our shores here and I wouldn't be surprised if it never did.
