20 Years Later (concept discussion)

I was pondering a fan fic concept set 20 years in the future... of course the problem is that we don't know who will live & who will die in Book 7, but with that caveat I wanted to share one or two basic concepts...

The story's main character would be the popular Griffindor prankster, the Metamorphmagus (he got it from his mother) Sirius J. Lupin (yes the "J" stands for James).

Of course the problem for young Sirius is that his father being Headmaster at Hogwarts (being promoted from his decade long position as DADA Teacher when McGonigal retired) he is disciplened extra severely so the teachers (and Remus) show they aren't playing favorites, while everyone else still accuses him of recieving preferential treatment anyway! Its quite stressful on our young hero & the only person he feels safe confiding in is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher, the world renowned Auror brought in to fill Remus' position, and Sirius' God-father: Proffesor Potter.

Thats a cool concept and I think that you should go ahead and write something about it.
And about the thing where you don't know who lives or dies, thats up to you. Its your story and if you want someone to be dead, then they're dead.
I'm surprised no ones rthought of this concept and if they have, why haven't you written about it yet??

Thats brilliant, it sounds almost like it could be a sequal series to the harry potter books.
