Draco's birthday!
Draco’s pov
“Oooo what did you get me?!” I squeal, jumping up and down on you, lying in our bed. You groan and roll over, your head disappearing under your pillow.
“Draco, it’s half six. I’m not getting up now.” You mumble and I sigh. Jumping up and down on you even more, your head eventually re-appears and you look at me. “Okay I’m up now, happy?”
“Yeesss.” I grin widely at you and kiss you softly. You smile back at me, before I disappear off the bed, running down the hallway. “Where is it Harry? Where’s my present?” I ask loudly, glancing into every room.
“Who says I’ve got you a present?” You ask me. I raise my eyebrow at you slightly and give you my most disbelieving face. “You’re not getting it till later.” You finish, getting out of bed and hunting for some clothes.
“But I want it now.” I whine, pulling at your arm.
“Draco are you twenty six or six?” You ask me “You have to wait till later.” I sigh, looking round for my clothes.
At ten o’clock, I still haven’t given up asking you for my present.
“Draco, for the two hundredth and fifty second time, you can’t have it now.” You tell me.
“You’ve been counting?” I ask you surprised. Ignoring me, you hear the doorbell ring and walk to answer it. Rushing past you, I hear you mumble something about ‘minding where other people walk,’ and pull the door open.
Hermione and Pansy are stood there smiling at the stupid grin on my face. Noticing presents in their hands, I quickly pull the door open even more and let them walk in.
“Someone’s excited!” I hear Hermione laugh.
“Tell me about it.” you mumble as I bounce up and down on the sofa. They all take a seat and I look at them expectantly.
“What?” Pansy asks.
“Presents!!” I squeal and bounce up and down even more. They both laugh and Pansy hands me over a nicely wrapped present. Giggling I rip off the paper and take a look inside.
“Thank you!” I grin as I look down at the large pile of CDs that she has bought me. He laughs and nods his head.
“No problem.” I put them gently down on the sofa next to me and look over at Hermione. She hands me her present and I begin to giggle again. Ripping the paper again, I am met the sight of a book, a big book. Reading the cover I see the title ‘100 potions for 100 uses.’ I look back up at her and see her grinning at me.
‘Thanks Hermione,’ I tell her. ‘It very… educational.’ She lets out a bark of a laugh and I look over at you sitting on the chair.
“Draco later.” You say noticing my stare.
“But they’ve given me their presents.” I tell you “Come on pay up!”
“Later.” Is all you say before turning to talk to the others. Pushing one of my new CDs into the player, I listen to it quietly until I hear the other two leave. Glancing up at the clock, I see that it’s three o’clock already.
“Gee time flies when you’re having fun.” I tell you and you smile at me.
“Draco go and get ready, we’re going out soon.” You say to me.
“Oooo and then do I get my present?” I ask you. You nod and I squeal, jumping up and down again. “What should I wear?” I think aloud.
“Your birthday suit!” You suggest laughing. Grinning at you, I make my way to our bedroom to get changed.
Emerging a few minutes later you are watching the tele and are presumable ready to go.
“That was quick Draco.” You say and look up at me. "I was just joking when I said come in your birthday suit!!" You say looking my naked body up and down.
“But I’m sure you won’t mind.” I giggle cheekily.
“No I’m sure I won’t, but I’m not sure everyone shares my opinion.” You tell me laughing slightly. “Go and put some clothes on, we have to leave soon.” You tell me.
Leaving the house about an hour later, with me properly dressed, we get into your car and drive into town.
“Where are we going?” I ask you.
“Ahh you’ll just have to wait and see.” You tell me, winking. Looking out of the window, I see you eventually park in a car park.
“Is this it?” I ask you. Shaking your head, you open your door and step out of the car. Following you, we begin to walk across the car park and you grab my hand.
“We have to walk through town first.” You explain. Nodding, we emerge into one of the busiest parts of town that is packed with people. As we are walking through the crowds of people, you suddenly begin to sing.
I would like you to dance—Birthday
Giggling at you, I watch as you begin to sing louder and louder.
Take a cha-cha-cha-chance-Birthday
You grab my other hand and begin to twirl me round and round as I giggle hysterically. Breaking away from you, you continue to spin only by yourself.
I would like you to dance--Birthday
Dance
You stop dancing and walk up to me, still giggling. Pulling me close to you, you smile softly at me.
“Happy birthday honey.” You whisper and press your lips to mine. Calming down, I wrap my arms around your neck and kiss you back softly.
“Thank you.” I whisper against your lips as we finish.
“No problem, I enjoyed it.” Glancing at your watch, we break apart and grab my hand and start to walk again. “Come on we better get going.”
Reaching the bottom of a tall building, I stare up at it whilst you rummage around with something in your pocket. Pulling it out, I see it’s a piece of black cloth. Turning me around, you place it over my eyes.
“Harry I can’t see!!” I whine to you, feeling around for anything with my hands. You grab my hands and I can hear you laughing.
“That’s the whole point.” You tell me. Sighing, I feel you starting to lead me into the large building. You guide me to the lift and I stand in it clutching on you as it begins to move. As it stops, you gently pull me out and we stand outside again. I can feel the soft breeze and hear the faint sounds of traffic. Pulling me more you guide me across the ground until you suddenly stop.
You begin to pull my blindfold away and I gasp when I see what’s up here. In the middle of the roof of the building, there is a small table with two chairs and plenty of food. Little candles litter the floor around it and light up the night air.
Smiling widely, I turn around and kiss you deeply. Breaking for air I can feel a massive grin on my face.
“Thank you.” I pant, “This is wonderful.” Smiling you lead me over to the table and sit me down. “This was a lovely present.” I say as we begin to eat.
“This isn’t your present; you have to wait for it a little longer.” You tell me. Finishing our meal, you take my hand once again and lead me over to the edge of the roof. You move behind me, and wrap your arms around my waist, leaning on my shoulder and looking over the roof at the world below.
“Wow! It’s beautiful!” I gasp and you smile, squeezing my waist slightly. “Is this my present?” I ask you.
“Nope.” You say simply “Look up.” Looking up I am met with the wonderful night sky. Stars litter it like diamonds and form beautiful patterns in the darkness.
“The sky?” I ask you.
“Something in the sky.” You explain. One of your hands leaves my waist and you point to one star in particular. It shines brightly at us and my grin widens.
“A star!” I ask you. Nodding, my grin widens even more and I know I’m grinning like a Cheshire cat. Turning around, I embrace you tightly, practically squeezing you to death. Pulling back slightly my lips find yours and my tongue finds its way into your mouth.
“I take it you like your present then?” You ask me. Nodding, I hug you tightly again. We stand on the roof, for a while longer, just gazing into the night sky. Soon we turn around and enter the lift back down to the ground. Leaving the building, you pull me close as I mumble in your ear.
"That was quite possibly the best birthday ever."
