Forum-related questions and problems

Postby Broccoli » Thursday 23 January 2003 1:26:17pm

We have already got a testing- amd a logging on section, but I think we could unite them into an area, where people would ask, how to do certain things and get help if they have any problems. What do you think?

i think it's a good idea. we can put all posts that are about questions in it... like the threads about post count and all that that don't really seem to have a place right now.

Yes, a particular place for any forum-related questions and problems (not just logging-on problems) does sound good and is kind-of lacking at the moment .

I've renamed the Important Information area to "Forum Help and Testing". The "Logging On" section is now "Forum-Related Questions and Problems", so it can now be used for all questions including the existing logging-on threads. It's still a forum which can be posted to by anyone, so that members who can't log on for whatever reason can post as a "Guest". I've kept the Test Postings section as a different section but moved it from the "Harry Potter Forum" area to the"Forum Help and Testing" area.

Also, I've juggled around the location of some of the main "Harry Potter Forum" sections. All postings within the sections is still where it started but, for example, the Rules have been moved to the Bottom of the "Harry Potter Forum" on the main forum index page.

Hope it looks OK :)

Thanks :) I've just moved The Books section above The Movies as well - seems to make a bit more sense that way.
