I wonder if it is possible to attach/upload images from saved pictures from the PC to the forum. I am aware we might be facing copyright issues and the ability of phpBB board and a possibility of exceeding storage spaces. Just a view though.

Maybe a new rule could be introduced; if you upload an image, then you must provide the source where you got the image from. That would ease things up in regards to copyright laws.

Image uploading will be a feature of the forthcoming super-big upgrade. I won't be enabling it through every part of the entire forum though - just for certain things, due to the copyright concerns already expressed. Nightcrawler's suggestion, along with the image upload facility, will be part of the new way of implementing custom avatars once the upgrade is available and here on BaO. Signature pictures is a definite no-no, due to the things already mentioned about signatures in other threads.
