I know i posted this in the School? Study? Homework! thread too but nobody seems to notice that.
What about giving out tasks to do?? I mean: You have the subject arithmancy...the task is: write something about archimedes. You can earn let´s say 5 housepoints if you do it well. it doesn´t have to be an essay just 100 or 150 words or something like that...nobody has to do this but if you do it you´ll be able to earn points for your house...it´s just a suggestion.
What do you think about that??

I think it's generally a good idea, but I am not sure about the topics of the tasks because it is so easy to find some info in the internet and post it here and then it would be difficult to evaluate the work. Maybe we could give the points to every house who finds some new facts about the subject (not mentioned by the previous house)?
