Azn Wizard suggested something similar in his forum effects suggestion. I've seen something that could make it technically possible, but I'm still not too certain about implementing a system like this, due to the possibilities of encouraging short-meaningless-posting spam posts (just to increase people's post count) of the type that I'd mentioned in your suggestion for extra goals. However, it's not a total impossibility and it's and idea I may investigate in more depth in the future.

In another forum I was on when I was about 8 and it was like this one but it had money and it worked great ! Everyone discussed ways on gaining money and it also attracted newbies.

well i was in a fourm like this but with games and it had money and stuff where u can buy clothes and a house and a wand etc, but it takes alot of time to do that, I think it was called Brooms online or something

In this case I wouldn't call that spamming, that was more for Paul's benefit to see what it was he was suggesting. If there had been a link that would have been against the rules but giving a name to be an example of a suggestion ought to be ok. Double posting is against the rules though, you should try to avoid doing it wherever possible. Usually you will get away with double posts to correct a particularly big error or to ressurect a thread that hasn't been responded to in weeks but you have new information to add to it anyway.
