I wonder when's the last time he's checked the custom titles section... there are some really old posts there...

Apologies that I had missed out on your request Asphodel but that's the only one that was currently outstanding for any more than 3 days as far as I've (admittedly briefly) checked. You may not see me sometimes but I'm around more than you may see - I've been watching this thread and giving it a few days to develop and to see what people think. :)

I've only read the main 6 books so far, so am also unfamiliar with "Quidditch Through the Ages" and the other Wizarding sports, but the overall idea seems an interesting one and may indeed be worth a try. I'm pretty much spending nearly all available time with work on the new server at the moment but when I get the opportunity, I'll look at how the existing Quidditch threads may fit in with a new or newly named "Magical Games and Sports" forum area.

Would the new name be over taking an old name?

Seems like it, although a sticky could perhaps be created for Quidditch.

It shouldn't be necessary to modify much in the Quidditch Forum, because Quidditch is a magical sport.

It simply broadens our horizons a bit.

It's a good idea, yes, but I'm not sure how much it'll "broaden our horizon"

P.S. Thanks for the title paul :) .

Who cares, at least it's not restricting them.

You're right.... I just don't want to get our hopes up to high... but then again, I might be wrong....

Point is it won't do anything bad, so there's no harm in it.

I can't see too many threads in it but who knows, maybe we can discuss quidditch a little more as well.
