The Rebellion of Souls

A home for old scenarios who may have come to an end for RPG playing but whose life and excitement can still be enjoyed in story form.

"Ian seems very preoccupied at the moment, actually," noted Gringott.
Ian was just sitting there... staring at Steph.

Steph looked around...and indeed Ian was staring at her...

"I think he has a little infatuation with you Steph" Gringott whispered

"Ummm..yeah I noticed that" Steph said as Ian started to drool...."ewww...."

Morphena quietly rebelled inside himself.

Ian rolled his eyes around the room, all of the books were boring so he got up and started reading over Steph's shoulder he then shook his head and walked away, staring at bookshelves, "Why don't you read?" Gringott inquired, "think it's boring too?"
Ian shook his head, "I can't read... that, I can read hieroglyphics and stuff, 'cause each sound has its own symbol, plus my family's Egyptian from my mother's side."
Gringott looked fairly shocked, "Then how can I teach you anything?"
"I'll find a way," Ian muttered and wondered off.

Come to the dark! Morphena felt the urges. His desire for knowledge and power cast all away.
He sees himself in a dark cloak, years from now, with red eyes and slits for nostrils... he seems himself as a personification of evil. A second worldwide darkness would follow.
There is only power...

No. The eyes. Look at the eyes. The purity. White. Rubies. Palm trees. Light. Fire! Darkness! Death!

Beauty.

Hope.

Look in the eyes.

Ian looked up, the book seemed intense. Steph was mouthing the words as she read them, Ian could barely read her lips. He broke the silence, "Was Morphena a popular name back then?"
Gringott seemed rather annoyed but responded, "Why?"
"I mean, Dumbledore named his kid Morphena, and then there's this Galdira lady...

"Yeah...I was just thinking that...Why the name Morphena, is there something significant about the name? Or is it just a powerful name, that people like???"

"Well you see, traditionally those of the magical persuasion wait until the one month point until having an official naming ceremony. Generally this allows the parents time to see the child's strengths and weaknesses," Gringott explained. "Morphena. A common name for a child that has already proved themselves as a metamorphmagus."

"Exactly," said Gringott. "Which is partly what made her so interesting. We use her only because that is what Galdira recorded on records, and by large she preferred the female shape. Most metamorphmagi, however powerful, cannot change their gender. It is recorded that Morphena Galdira was one of the few in history that could.
"See how this is interesting now?"

"Tonks? What a funny name..." Came wise words from Gringott.
"She's a family friend," explained Steph.
"Oh... well I'd say not, according to my sources there hasn't been a multi-gendered metamorphmagi since Galdira "her"self."
