ok heres what i think...dd said something about how death isnt the worst that can happen to you. so harry prolly has to "defeat" but not kill him somehow. and that part about dd smiling and having a "triumphant twinkle in his eyes" or whatever, maybe voldemort cant be defeated completely until he is like at the very peak of his powers. And i think hedwig will have something more to share later on. I was thinking maybe hedwig is dd but then i realized that couldnt be, but maybe hedwig is someone else? any thoughts?

at first i thought hedwig was DD. and i came up with all this supporting evidence before i realized that it couldnt possibly be true. but i think hedwig is animagus for someone. maybe someone we havent met yet.

I think that DD may sacrifice himself, in order to weaken Voldie, so that Harry can defeat him.

At the moment DD seems to be able to beat Voldie and that's not what the prophecy says, so i think he will have to be out of the way before the final showdown. Also Voldie seems to be too powerful for Harry to defeat, so something must change. DD has said is not afraid of death ("There are worse things") and this could also make Harry angry enough to use an unforgiveable on Voldemort.
