I think they might keep them coz they get older in the books too dont they?? The 4th book will be really hard to make but i heard some of the cast were signed up for all 7 films already!

Well i dunno bout Dan, or Emma but as long as they keep Rupert i dont mind!!! Tee hee

this is kinda late, but the guy who plays Gordo in Lizzie McGuire is in college... don't ask me how I know that, but that certainly means that they can make old actors look younger.

They do it all the time! I can't even really see that it's an issue. I mean, most of the people playing teenagers on tv or in movies are in their 20's, even late 20's! That's the norm now.

Seriously, think of the children, won't any one please think of the children...sorry i had to add that nice quote from Mrs. Lovejoy from the Simpsons...but hey, having the same children in the movies 1-7 is kinda insane...could you imagine getting a job when you were 11 and being forced to do it until you were well out of secondary school? Seriously, that is insane. This is not a matter of aging or maturity, but of pure sanity. Kids want to be kids, and a life on a movie set is just not right for kids. Sorry, if you disagree.

well to an extent i agree with you there. i mean while i personally couldnt spend that much time in the same job, and especially not on a film set, but at the end of the day it's up to the actors themselves. it may suit them to carry on with the films if that's what they wanna do

i think the cast they have now should at least finish out the four...but, as tom felton kindly put it...'In the seventh movie, Daniel will probably be 25..."
nicely put.
Anyway, i think that losing the original cast will be a dispointment, but, i'll still see the movies...*but with tears in my eyes...*

Remember though, that each book is another year in the life of HP. By book seven HP will be 18 years old. It's not a huge stretch for an 20 something actor to play an 18 / 19 year old.

Wait. i thought Dan did wear the contact. i saw the poster for the movie in CoS and P'sS. His eyes were green. Even if he don't like to wear it, but he have to.. Having green eyes is like one of the biggest plot in the whole series. they can't miss that even if the actor don't like it.

Hm, I hope that there is not character changes. I don't like some of the actors and actress, but it just wouldn't be the same.

I just heard somewhere that the trio will do GoF, after that there may be a change of characters. Personally, i'd like to keep the same actors because it'd be weird to have different characters playing the same roles.

i love dan! i can't believe anyone would say that he can't act! and all the actors and actresses are just to perfect for they're parts...besides, i saw an interview with the three main charcators, and they said they were already working on the 4th movie

I'm being selfish but the cast MUST STAY THE SAME!! I'm already attached to them now! It was really weird for me to not see Richard Harris (RIP) in #3. I dealt with it, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that would have a problem with a major cast change. As far as the actors being children and not wanting to grow up on a movie set, I'm sure they can turn down the role anytime. It's not like they aren't making crazy amounts money. I'm sure they would feel weird to watch someone else play their characters too. I'll watch the rest of the movies no matter what happens, but it will be with a major chip on my shoulder should the cast change. The only way it would be acceptable is if JKR decides to pull a "STAR WARS"! It would kill me to wait 20 yrs before I see the rest of the movies.......She's NOT planning on doing that right? :o I have to stop now....I'm really getting myself all worked up :-?

If you go to http://www.barnesandnobme.com you can sign up for their "First to Know" thingy and they'll notify you by e-mail as soon as the release date is official.
