I'm not sure if I read this somewhere, or if I just want it to happen so much that I've made myself think that shes gonna do a prequel of the Marauders.

On the Today show, she just said she'd write the encyclopedia, but probably wouldn't write any more books about the wizarding world. But a prequel would be cool! Maybe she'll change her mind.

You know I was just coming here to ask everyone whether they thought a prequel might happen - how spooky that Bextra thought that too!

I would love a Prequel or spin-off series and would love to hear some stories about the Marauder years at Hogwarts!

Hmm... While that might be cool, I'm pretty sure all the important events in the Maruader's lives have already been covered by the books. A prequal series would just be retreading stuff we already know.

I'm totally going to buy the encyclopedia though....

All the importnat bits have been covered, but it'd be cool to read about like the little things they, like in the Gryffindor common room and stuff like that, or conversations they have and what they did when Lupin was a werewolf and they went out.

i would like to see more books on the wizarding world, but no more concerning harry himself. maybe some background on hogwarts and the rest of the wizarding world.

That would be cool... BUT It may be a bit boring because we already know the plot of the story ( Lupin-Werewolf..Map)
Even though I would read it, JK wouldn't do a prequel I'm 99.9% sure of it !

I would love a prequel, because I love the Marauders. Most of the fan fic I ready is about the Marauders. :lol:

There's so much more than just Lupin being a werewolf, the animagus stuff, and the map. There's also Voldy coming to power.

Just because you know the plot doesn't mean you know the story... Anyway, I do believe you've heard the plot from individual characters' points of view, depending on who she chose as the main character the real story could be quite different.
