Those Grotter books that JKRowling had sued, i saw them.

So weird, you know when they sell cds and books on the streets - I was walking by and I suddenly noticed a cover that looked familiar. So I stopped by - and there they were.

From the cover - they definitely look like a copy/parody/whatever they are. Like the way the name of the book was written (fond I guess) was similar.

And I thought it was 1 book....but its a series of books (there were 2 of them)

Weird :o , didn't expect to find them here.

Yeah, I've seen the books too. Although the authors insist on them having nothing to do with Harry Potter, it is quite obvious that they are made like a parody. Well, I find it pretty nasty, that these people are making money with such books.

There is no way that character is an original creation. Is it just me, or are the names Grotter and Potter incredibly similar?

Those books are in Brooklyn, NY.

Well, supposevly they are about a girl that is a witch and goes to a school like that.

If I come across them again I'll read the first page and tell you how much similar they are.

Although I have a feeling they definitely will be.

The people on that link are saying dumb stuff like I think JK is scared of a little competition. How stupid could you be. JK scared of something that rips off her own writing, I think not.
