In Victoria, Australia; it's actually winter and it's cold beyond belief.
I cannot WAIT for Summer to start, but apparently the bush fires are going to be worse than last time, so I'm angsty.
Hope everyones winter/summer/autumn/spring is awesome :)

Ah.. summer. It's been great for me. I'm a bit anxious about going back to school, but it can't be any worse than sixth grade... I hope. Well, here's to this school year, and all the fun things we'll be doing.

Summer's been a bit up and down. My boyfriend was away for 3 weeks in Aus, which was really hard, and there have been resits which caused me to miss one of the main LARP events. Not to forget the excessive amount of organising and emailing I've had to do for my Gaming society and the Student Nationals. And the current illness isn't helping. But there's also been the awesomeness of who I'm sharing a flat with for at least the next year, free comedy at the Fringe, the Gathering of Nations next week, getting back into roleplaying on here, to name but the most prominent things.

As for next year at uni, there will be more lasers. I approve of this. And more Physics to numb the minds of those deemed unworthy by the great Spectrum of Phycisists Past. :evil grin:

My summer's been going pretty well so far. I had some dance classes back in July, and I'm having some more this week, which is always lots of fun. The weather hasn't been too bad, excluding this week; at least four sweltering days without rain (I was shocked) and then a downpour yesterday evening.
I've gotten a good bit of writing done, started some fanfic, and ate a lot of cookies.
I'm not too happy about going back to school in September, though-- I haven't gotten my schedule yet so I don't know if I'll like my teachers or whether I'll have any classes with my friends. Plus the fact that the school's under construction, and so doesn't look particularly welcoming. I can't wait for regular dance classes to start, though, and since they start in September, too, I can't really decide if I'm dreading the next month or jumping up and down in anticipation.

Yep, we got tons of thunder and lightning. It was actually pretty cool.

My summer's been all over the place. Awesome, boring, fun, and then it had it's incredibly sad parts, too. It's just been all over the place. Went on a few vacations, which were all really fun. Got to see one of my LeakyCon friends and one of my friends from school, which was nice. Worked a lot, wrote a lot.

I go back up to school in a little over a week and I'm actually ready to go. Yes, this semester will be insane, homework wise, but I miss my friends. I'm excited.

lol. The teachers in my school teach multiple grades. It's rather funny. I can be in the same class as seniors. Because of this, many of my teachers I've had before, so going back to school doesn't get me nervous about my new teachers.

Wow, that must be kinda weird, for both the students and the teachers.

No, not really. It gets me to know my teachers, plus, if I liked a teacher, I'd get to have that teacher again if they teach the class I take. It's actually really fun, especially when you outsmart people two grades ahead of you, and then you have class with them next year and get to remind them.
