In the book Ghosts

Moaning Murtle, N-Headless Nick, and the Bloody Baron, just to name a few, are some of the ghosts in HP now...

When Harry asked Nick about Sirus becoming a ghost, he said that it was a spell that those who fear death can use and stay as ghosts, now, how could Moaning Murtle a mere student at Hogwarts have known this spell, and have had the skill to preform it???

dont you get the choice of coming back?? and because she was killed in hogwarts she therefore left an imprint of herself on the earth? maybe some old wizard stands at a gate and asks if you want to go on or if you want to stay? in science we learnt something about energy, maybe that has something to do with it?

The general forum is meant for stuff that doesn't fit in any of the others not just anything.

Sorry, the above post isn't just aimed at you, somebody else has been posting multiple book questions in the Great Hall recently too....

"General" is a pretty broad term, and will often be interpreted differently. I've always felt that so long as it's not spam, or a duplicate thread, any discussion is welcome in the Great Hall.
