It had references to greek, norse, etc. mythology that could be found in HP. Like the sphinx, and Fluffy. Fluffy is like Cerberus in Greek mythology who guards the gates to Hades. Stuff like that. It was so cool to see all the possibilities of where JKR gets her stuff. There were sections on folklore and stories where JKR could have got names like Draco, Lucius, even Hermione.
I lost that book and would really like to find out what it was called bc I don't remember the name either.
Also, I'd like feedback on any good HP companion books. I'm done with Half Blood Prince and need a fix.
I know there are books of speculation on HP and other things like that.
I hope I'm explaining this well. Anyway, I'd LOVE any ideas about other books to read that have to do with the Harry Potter series.
