No... sorry for the dry spell, I take social studies, and my teacher wanted to demonstrate how much we rely on modern communication, so, among other things, she said we were not to use the computer for the rest of the year.

Wouldn't that affect the rest of your studying and your keeping up to date with your school/college/university because most of these places reply on emails to tell you results and all sorts of stuff these days.

I don't know if it's different in U.K., but over here most schools mail or give you reports.

well depends, I think I left school school before computers really became essential but certainly at uni they expected you to access your email everyday and tutors could send you marks and deadlines and important stuff via email and the excuse that you hadn't got internet access wasn't accepted anymore. Quite a vast amount of uni based stuff is trying to be internet only these days, graduation was all online, picking subjects all online, even applying for your student loan is now meant to be online only so its very hard to get paper copies.

*shrug* You'd think here in Silicon Valley comp. would be absolutely essential, but there are still kids over here who simply can't afford the internet.

Can we please start the house points again I just think that Hufflepuff & Ravenclaw ( mabey Slytherin ) don't have enough members to come up with answers.

Paul, there is someone( Salemboy ) wanting to be in Hufflepuff but hasn't been accepted yet, so if you have time mabey you could give him the key :)
