Yeah, sorry about that one! we kinda just wanted to specify that none of them are related to OOTP, since now everyone has necessarily been able to get hold of it, or read it yet!

And to Blueberry: Read the qn, and decifer what you want to take it as! I'm not giving away any hints!!! hehehe!

Hahah noo hints! Great to see that you think our question(s) difficult! We've tried really hard to come up with something difficult, I'm glad that work hasn't been for nothing :P ! I wish you all good luck in getting the right answers!

yeah but question 1 is really difficult, it depends on the person answering and there opinion of what is dangerous...

im sure Hagrid would say that they were all not dangerous but others wouldnt agree

for instance...take a centaur

on first thoughts you'd say not dangerous, gentle and intelligent arent they....but then think about what they did in some of the books......anything can be dangerous if it really wants to be...i vote that the question is unfair as there is no correct answer...it all depends on the people answering the question.....

If you read the question correctly, it shouldn't be that hard (not mend in a bad way, as in I do not mean that you didn't read correctly :P). You have to look for beasts that are given a XXXX-definition! Where, alas, I can not tell you of course! Good luck with the question !

Okies, okies, after reading that last post, I hope this
is better...

1) Name all the beasts given a XXXX classification, which aren't defined as dangerous.

I'm going to PM this out to house prefects, and they can post it in their respective common-rooms (since we can't do that) jsut so that everyone knows that there has been a change!

Thanks, Holly ;)

Ok, I need to get something off my chest...

Since Ravenclaw got chosen to create the next quiz by Slytherin (thank you, Slytherins...we've really enjoyed making the quiz!! :)), we've been met with a lot of complaining/whining. :-? First, we were taking too long to make it...no one seemed to bother to ask (or even PM) the prefects to ask us what was going on (the three of us weren't around that week, as I explained earlier)...I was popping in when I could, I'd have let you know, and I'm sure Paul, if PMed, would have let you know the prefects simply weren't around. It's a quiz...I really don't mean to sound snarky when I say this, but surely people have other things in their lives...Ravenclaws do, and I'm sure others at this forum do as well! The timing was bad...we weren't simply ignoring the quiz and again, we do apologize for the delay.

We weren't going to make anyone wait a month...I just would have appreciated someone politely PMing me or one of the other prefects before coming on here and insinuating that we've just been sitting around and making people wait for no good reason. Seeing as we have the lowest number of House points and I've never been a part of quiz (much less making one, and I'm not sure Barry has either) and we have a ton of members to come up with questions and we needed to narrow them down, we wanted to make it good...and with no prefects around, it was hard to get it organized. I'm really sorry to sound harsh...that's not my intention, but I'm trying to make a point and, again, I am really sorry it took so long...given different circumstances, I'm sure it would have not.

I'm not making excuses nor am I excessively angry or trying to hurt anyone's feelings, but I've let this lie for a while now, and I would have let it go, but it didn't stop there. Then I read posts about how our questions are too hard and how our questions are unfair, etc. . . . we're really trying to work with people, but geez, what do you want? First, the quiz didn't come out quickly enough, then the questions were too hard/unfair, what next, we picked the wrong question to be our bonus question? I'm sorry, I know this sounds harsh, but I'm finding myself annoyed, and if you're honest with yourselves, I think you might, too, if you were in my, Holly's, or Barry's situation.

Think about this: since I joined in early June and long before I joined, have you ever known Ravenclaws to be thoughtless, mean, or purposely unfair? Do we strike you as the kind of people to take a long time to think up questions just to annoy people and purposely create questions people cannot answer? And finally, are we the kind of people, if approached nicely, who wouldn't take the time and try to help the best we can with any problem presented to us? If you've answered 'yes' to any of these questions, I wonder if we've been posting at the same forum. :o Bearing that in mind, please take my words in the proper context...this is NOT meant as a lecture or a scolding...simply meant as a 'heads-up' and a request to just please consider feelings. We truly enjoyed making the quiz for all of you and we were flattered to have Slytherins choose us to make it (and to make it hard, seeing as we are Ravenclaws, and intelligence and cleverness are supposed to be our trademarks)...please don't make us regret being chosen to make the quiz.

Sincerely,
Lizzy

 Awww, but we're not complaining/whining though. And i like challenging question.
First, it doesn't really matter how long the quiz takes to make, cause of course we have our own life. We don't bother to ask cause we don't wanna rush you guys.
Second, the more difficult the questions are, the better to nag our brain out. It's better if the questions are hard.
Thirdly, yeah gecko. I did look at the XXXX-classification. if i count it correctly it's 4X  that are not dangerous...it's jsut too bad some of us don't have the Fantastic Beast and Where to find it.. But that doesn't stop us though. And as planned. the answers will be given on time. :P

ANd yeah Thanks Holly Pokes Holly in the stomach

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah....we(ok, I) had them all answered the day they came out!

Apart from 1), I've never read FBaWTFT...luckily HW had a copy...yey for HW!!! :D

The questions are goodies I thought, trickier than I would have expected, but still very answerable.

(I may have got them all wrong, but as no-one else posts in our common room, I've had no arguements!)
