Wow, thats a lot of times for a movie! You must like it a lot, well, it is one of the best movies Ive seen!!! 11 oscars!!! I saw School of Rock. It was OK, it was funny, but it was kind of predictiable.

i saw it for the second time last night and i think it's awesome. it's very powerful. i recommend it to everyone, it's a very, very good movie.

I saw Passion of the Christ last week. I cried from all the violence. I thought I was desensitised to violence but after that movie... i realised that i'm not.

I know i'm not a director or anything, and my opinion really isn't that informed, but i really thought that there should have been more symbolism in the movie. Or perhaps more emphasis put on the symbolism than the violence. I found myself saying under my breath "no more no more no more oh god they can't keep going just stop it!"

I thought that the devil was a bit freaky, and those kids too.

you're right, the devil and the kids were freaky. the part i didn't understand was when the devil was holding the baby, or whatever it was, when jesus was being tortured. who/what was the baby?

There were a few things the baby symbolised to me: firstly, that even innocence can be corrupt; second it seemed to be like the birth of a new evil or doubt, and third i thought it was just to freak you out, set the tone and timbre of the scene.

That was what it meant to me, i preferred not to go any deeper. probably if you looked in the bible there'd be some reference or other...

The last movie was probably RotK for the third time. I cried a lot [of course]. I would like to see Big Fish, Mona Lisa Smile, Cold Mountain and Monster but I don't have enough money.

Has The Day after Tomorrow came out in theaters where you live? Have you seen it and is it worth spending money? All the effects looks really fine in the trailer, but I don't think it will be very good.

Big Fish - It's about this guy who grew up with his father telling these tall tales, amazing stories, but once he becomes an adult he realises they can't be true, and sort of feels betrayed or let down. His father is dying and he wants him to tell him the truth about his life.

It's a beautiful movie, and the imagery is really amazing.

I saw Girl with a Pearl Earring on Saturday, and Thirteen on sunday. You'd think i have nothing better to do with my life but see movies :lol:

Girl with a pearl earring was good. Scarlett Johansen is so convincing as Griet. And Colin Firth, man that guy has range. The fact that it has Cillian Murphy in it has nothing to do with my positive review
